Scheduled for release sometime this fall, Sony Online Entertainment's
LORDS OF EVERQUEST is a new real-time strategy (RTS) game inspired by the massively successful
EVERQUEST online game. Taking place in the fantasy land of Antonica, players assume control of one of 15 Lords and manage massive armies in their quest for domination.
The game's roster of talent has just been announced and it's a who's who of stars from genre television and film. Among the voice talent taking part in the game are Kate Mulgrew (
STAR TREK: VOYAGER), Ron Perlman (
HELLBOY), Claudia Black (
FARSCAPE), Kevin Conroy (
BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES), Fairuza Balk (
THE CRAFT), Hudson Leick (
XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS), Dwight Schultz (
STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION), Katey Segal (
FUTURAMA), John Rhys-Davies (the
LORD OF THE RINGS movies), Michael T. Weiss (
THE PRETENDER) and Cree Summer (
RUGRATS! GO WILD).
"Our goal with
LORDS OF EVERQUEST is to deliver the highest possible quality of gameplay, story, features, and production value," said James Parker, producer, Sony Online Entertainment. "By adding top voice talent to the game's already strong storyline, features and gameplay,
LORDS OF EVERQUEST is well on its way to becoming a top contender in the RTS genre."
