OK, here's a few more of my top casting picks for any upcoming Batman Begins sequels:
1. Joker - Will Ferrell (of course)
2. Penguin - Wayne Knight (Newman from Seinfeld; Bruce "Wayne" and Dark "Knight"... He was destined to play this role)
3. Catwoman - Kate Beckindale (we already know that she looks good in black leather)
4. Riddler - Joaquin Phoenix
5. Two-Face - Liev Schreiber (you need someone a little older in order to play a convincing Havery Dent... after all, the DA of a city like Gotham wouldn't be in his 20's)
6. Mr. Freeze - Kelsey Grammer (Frasier turns evil, icey doctor)
G.I. Joe - Jul 22, 2006 - 02:46pm
Being a Marine veteran, real Cajun from south Louisiana and a prowrestling fan, I would love to see Stone Cold Steve Austin in the role of Gung-Ho, just so long as he doesn't screw up the accent like Adam Sandler did in The Water Boy.

I think that Batman Begins is the best Batman movie yet, and I am anxious to see where they will take it from here. I only hope that they stay on course, and shy away from the camp that destroyed the last franchise.
Personally, I would love to see Will Ferrell in the role of the Joker. I think he already looks the part (just add sadistic smile), and would be the perfect actor to explore the duality of the character. This role would provide the chance for him to prove his acting ability as he portrays the psychopathic nature of the Joker, while also exercising his comedic genius. Although I liked Nicholson's Joker, I don't he was provided much of an opportunity to delve into this area of charcater development. It's important for the Joker to "kill you with laughter" because after all he is the polar opposite of Batman, which makes him the perfect nemesis of the Batman. The Caped Crusader is the protagonist in the frightening costume, while the Joker is the antagonist in the clown costume; great irony in both of these characters, which I believe tells us a little about ourselves and our "human" conditioning.
I would leave Justin Timberlake out of the series. I like the ideas about Harvey Dent, especially since Rachel's boss, whom I assume was the District Attorney in the last movie, was killed by Ra's Al Ghul's thugs.
Any ideas about a potential Penguin or Riddler? Other thoughts?
