Portia de Rossi is hoped to be part of the solution to Wes Craven's
CURSED. The
ALLY MCBEAL actress has been cast in the troubled Dimension Films werewolf flick in a new opening sequence. As you may recall,
CURSED took a hiatus from filming this past summer, allowing Craven and the Dimension team to re-focus on solving the picture's effects and story problems.
Production on
CURSED (which was originally supposed to be in theaters last August and now has a to be determined release date) resumes again in Los Angeles this week.
In other
CURSED news,
FilmJerk has published the first
script review for CURSED. It's an April 2003 draft of Kevin Williamson's script that
FilmJerk's Jean-Francois Allaire looks at and gives a negative appraisal for. "It's exceptionally bad at moments, but it does have hints of greatness," writes Allaire in his review. And as mentioned in the coverage we've been giving
CURSED, Williamson's script has now been changed -- hopefully for the better.
