It looks like Ghost Rider and Sony Pictures want to make the first waves at the New York Comic-Con next weekend. Just a few hours after Marvel Studios and Walt Disney revealed the details for their panel on The Avengers, Sony has dropped word that fans can expect to see some action from their exhibit of Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. And the panel will be earlier in the day.
Ghost Rider – Spirit of Vengeance
Date: Saturday, October 15
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Location: IGN Theater
Speakers: Brian Taylor, Mark Neveldine
Description:
After blazing a trail around the globe in the worldwide hit Ghost Rider, Nicolas Cage returns as Johnny Blaze in Columbia Pictures’ Ghost Rider – Spirit of Vengeance. Still struggling with his curse as the devil’s bounty hunter, Blaze is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect to save a young boy (Fergus Riordan) from the devil (Ciaran Hinds). At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider again, but it is the only way to protect the boy – and possibly rid himself of his curse forever. Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, the directors of the film, will be in attendance to give you a look at their vision for the film and their no-holds-barred style of directing.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance arrives in 3D/2D theaters on February 17, 2012. You can check out the previously-unleashed trailer down below.

So, Nick Cage won't be there to promote his lastest theatrical film, despite his latest Nic Kidman flick is going straight to dvd. Seems like he could use all the help he could get.
In the comics he came out anytime really, not a vampire...when vengence was needed.
Nic Cage Rules sorry he does. Yes Dazzler is correct he came out anytime so opps ! lol
This looks great btw and definately looking forward to it.
At first Blaze could only transorm at night but as time went on, he started changing pretty much at will, much like Danny Ketch...
I agree that this looks much better than the first film, which I liked anyway
BunyonSnipe is right about GR transforming at night at first. But I'm glad to see him out in the day, maybe like the Hulk he's learning to control his transformations
And anyway, this version of Ghost Rider is closer to the Ketch version, what with the biker leathers and the magic chain...
Looks better than the first one..i'll have to give them that. I might have to go check it out.
