The supernatural adventure stars Nicolas Cage, Fergus Riordan, Ciaran Hinds, Idris Elba, Johnny Whitworth and Violante Placido. The co-directing tandem of Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor led behind the camera, based on a screenplay by writers Scott M. Gimple, Seth Hoffman and David S. Goyer.
Plot Concept: In "Spirit of Vengeance," Johnny (Cage) ---still struggling with his curse as the devil's bounty hunter--- is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy (Fergus Riordan) from the devil (Ciaran Hinds). At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy - and possibly rid himself of his curse forever.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance rides into 3D/2D theaters on February 17, 2012.
After a few beers and a serious lack of sleep, when I read 'Johnny (Cage)' I had a '.... uh, what?!' moment and had to check that I hadn't clicked a Mortal Kombat link... oh dear!
Anyway, yeah, not too shabby.... I'll happily forget about the first outing. This one looks quite good.
Forget the first Rider movie..this one looks a hell of alot better. I say Hell Yes!..to Spirit of Vengeance! Just wondering if "Danny" is Danny Ketch, if so will we be seeing a new Rider in the future?
I liked the first. Yeah it wasn't as good as it could've been but it was enjoyable. This one looks a lot better and darker as a GR film needs to be but it's only a trailer so far (fingers crossed).
The site is ok as far as sites go. Then again I was sold already so that was unnecassary
