@ Tim Janson. Why can't you belive that saying a few hail marys would clear a deal with the devil, Obviously Nicoulas cages deal for hollywood ended the exact same way.

It's movies like these that make superhero movies disappear.

If your a fand of ghostrider you best hopy the franchise doese not make it back to Disney, because if so we will never see a proper R rated film.

I didn't think it was possible to make a CBM worse than Superman III then to my amazement they made Superman IV.  I didn't think it was possible to make a CBM worse than Superman IV then to my amazement they made Punisher: War Zone.  I didn't think it was possible to make a CBM movie worse than Punisher: War Zone then to my amazement they did it twice in 2011 with GR: SOV and Green Lantern.  They just need to close down the turd factory and put GR on the shelf for a while.

Another idea for another Ghost Rider film might be to go the Daredevil route.  The director's cut of that film was definitely "R" and it was much better than the crappy PG-13 film that was released.

Ghost Rider, a "R" rated version, should have been promoted without any refrences to it's comic book roots.  Super-heroes automatically get labled as family or kid fare. Though you would think the subject matter and visuals should have been a strong enough indicator that this wasn't really for the kiddies.

I also agree that if another GR is made it should be on a tighter budget.  And without Cage's involvement.

On a last note, I actually thought that Drive Angry was a better Ghost Rider movie than the two GR film's combined.  Sure, he didn't have a flaming skull but it was almost the same thing.
