From out of left feild ..... and I f*cking love it! This is great. He's still got that dashing and charming wise-ass vibe while still being older and wiser after falling down a million rabbit holes. Like has been posted earlier, an actor struggling with real demons portraying a character struggling with real demons. This is the dimension that will really sell this caharcter, not just to the fanboys but all moviegoers, because when you have a protagonist who's face will be covered over and most likely 99.6% CGI (reducing most of the hero scenes to animation with voice over), you need the voice and then the actor as the alter-ego to have gravity and, dare I say it .... "gravitas"! Downey does this in spades and brings so much to the table.

I agree with jamesdalton .... and if there's one thing dalton knows, dalton knows music. And he punches harder than Eddie Vedder (but not Chris Cornell). But NOBODY punches harder than Kim Thayill. This is the first Bond tune in about 15 years that hasn't been instantly dismissable. And I couldn't care less about all the anti-Daniel Craig propaganda, this is also the first Bond movie since maybe License To Kill that I'm actually going "Jeez, y'know, I can't wait to see this!"

#1 - redwing1 this just makes me feel all yummy inside. i mean, who wouldn't like this on their mantle? Um, just a stab in the dark, redwing1, but guys who don't want to seem like creepy losers? "Lookie what I got! A purty statue of a HAWT chick with big BOOBIES! AWESOME!!!!" Trust me, most comic geeks grow out of this phase and the ones that don't, well they're very rarely a threat since they only leave the basement to go to work at GameStop. But maybe I'm being too harsh. Naw....
