It definately looks better than the 1st one and having the Rock and Mr. Willis is one HELL of an upgrade!

Paramount Pictures has allowed Dwayne Johnson to tweet the first teaser trailer for G.I. Joe: Retaliation, the upcoming follow-up adventure to their 2009 film G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra. Check it out below courtesy of Machinima and sound off with your opinions.
The sequel stars Channing Tatum, Ray Park, Dwayne Johnson, Bruce Willis, Elodie Yung, RZA, DJ Cotrona, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Stevenson, Joseph Mazzello, Walton Goggins and DeRay Davis. Director Jon Chu is taking over the helming duties, based on a screenplay by writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
Thanks to raa2001 for the submission.

Did anyone else notice Cobra Commander? He actually looked like Cobra Commander.
it definitely evokes more of the spirit if the cartoon. I feel Im in the minority whe I say I did enjoy the first one. It wasnt fantastic but it was summertime popcorn fare... I dont recall ever actually getting a kind of origin story with the cartoon and that was what RoC was... more or less
I gotta go with Elbaz on this one. Snake Eyes was being the badass that only he can be, Roadblock had the ma deuce, and Cobra Commander's helmet looked like Cobra Commander's helmet. But it is impossible to forget the first one. And if Larry Hama ain't involved, it ain't GI Joe. PERIOD.
Yeah that Cobra Commander looked sick. I'm actually looking forward to this one. I figure i'm in for GI Joe like Transformers. Commited to the first so I will watch the sequels. Im just curious if Jinx is GI Joe or Cobra.
And to be clear did they kill off the old Joes?
Shit got REAL this time around. This is definitely a more serious take than the way over the top first which I still enjoyed.
BW made me chuckle with his delivery on that last line. Really digging Adrianne Palicki too. And it looks like Tatum is being relegated to supporting actor only, that's a good thing I think let DJ take the lead
They killed a bunch of them in the old comic, Doc among them, so it's possible.
Oh yeah. Replacing Marlon Wayans for Bruce Willis and The Rock is definitely a no-brainer.
I remember seeing the trailer of the first Joe movie and cringed when I saw the exo suits and them running around the streets and hearing "Ripcord" say one liners. No thanks.
Wow! Looks good and will make me want to forget that steaming pile of turd first movie.
