What They Say
From renowned composer MASAMICHI AMANO (SiN: the Movie / Ninja Resurrection / Princess Nine TV / Ruin Explorers / Urotsukidoji) comes the Original Soundtrack to one of the best orchestral tracks in anime - GIANT ROBO!

From the action-packed drama Giant Robo comes the soundtrack that has been hailed as a landmark title in anime music. Performed by the WARSAW PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA and composed by musical legend Masamichi Amano, the second Giant Robo soundtrack picks right up where the first left off, with tracks like the poignant string melody of "Daisaku?s Determination" and the driving percussion of "Rush!" that will capture you instantly.

Comes with a 14-page full-color CD booklet and liner notes by Amano himself. Don?t miss it!

The Review!
4 out of 5
Music found in the Giant Robo the Animation, the Day the Earth Stood Still.

This CD comes with a Fourteen-page insert. Let?s not forget the centerfold type picture that spans the front and back cover as well of the main female character. Keep an eye out for the character/scene pictures throughout the insert as well. First two pages of the insert contain the song title list. The next two pages give a small summarization of what began the story of Giant Robo. Next up is a small description of the first episode, spanning two pages. Then two pages for the episode two description. The next four pages contain a small description of the songs by Mr. Amano (the composer). The last two pages are the credits for the animation as well as the CD.

The music in this one is of the instrumental nature. It is a great performance by the Warsaw Philharmonic, and another composition by Masamichi Amano. These two powerful forces have been working together a lot lately in the soundtracks that have been coming out, and it is nice to see that once again they don?t disappoint. You would think that with the same composer and the same orchestra used in several series/movies, the music would begin to sort of meld together, and it would all sound alike over time, however, Mr. Amano, and the Warsaw Phil have managed to make each soundtrack different and unique to the anime they are being used in. This one is no different in that respect. The compositions for this one move quite well, and have a more epic quality. It supersedes even the first soundtrack for Giant Robo. This one is a real treat to the ears. The music flows through the listener like water, and it leaves behind emotions that haven?t been touched in years. The sounds keep you interested throughout, and have that endearing quality to bring you emotionally to your knees with suspense, and keep you in stitches laughing all at the same time while listening.

I?d have to say a great mix of power and beauty.

Fangboy says?can I hear it again, and again, and again, and?
