Not exactly an eye-opening affair but the official website for Hellboy II: The Golden Army has been updated by Del Toro and Universal pictures, which reveals a concept art for the character Johann Kraus. Click the website link above to check it out...The sequel stars Ron Perlman, Selma Blair, Doug Jones, Luke Goss, Thomas Kretschmann, Anna Walton, Brian Steele and Roy Dotrice.

You can check out the first teaser via the Hellboy links.

Plot Summary: With a signature blend of action, humor and character-based spectacle, the saga of the world's toughest, kitten-loving hero from Hell continues to unfold in "Hellboy II: The Golden Army." Bigger muscle, badder weapons and more ungodly villains arrive in an epic vision of imagination from Oscar®-nominated director Guillermo del Toro ("Pan's Labyrinth," "Hellboy").

After an ancient truce existing between humankind and the invisible realm of the fantastic is broken, hell on Earth is ready to erupt. A ruthless leader who treads the world above and the one below defies his bloodline and awakens an unstoppable army of creatures. Now, it's up to the planet's toughest, roughest superhero to battle the merciless dictator and his marauders. He may be red. He may be horned. He may be misunderstood. But when you need the job done right, it's time to call in Hellboy (Ron Perlman).

Along with his expanding team in the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Development--pyrokinetic girlfriend Liz (Selma Blair), aquatic empath Abe (Doug Jones) and protoplasmic mystic Johann--the BPRD will travel between the surface strata and the unseen magical one, where creatures of fantasy become corporeal. And Hellboy, a creature of two worlds who's accepted by neither, must choose between the life he knows and an unknown destiny that beckons him.

Hellboy II: The Golden Army will hit theaters July 11, 2008.

I find myself getting more and more excited to see this film, I loved the first and the teaser for this was amazing. Can't wait.

I liked that first teaser, too. There's that "See You Next Wednesday" on the movie marquee. There were some letters missing, but you could tell that was the movie's title. That was a running gag in several John Landis movies. I'm waiting for this one, too. I think it'll be really good.

And in case someone here wants to correct me, "See You Next Wednesday" was from 2001, then John Landis went on to use it in his movies. Just wanted to put that in.

I'd be surprised if anyone here hasn't already, but the animated features (blood and Iron IMO was the better of the 2) are excellent! Def worth checking out!

There's a solid shot of him up at the ol' Wikipedia as well. Just scroll to the bottom to view:

Looks like an underfed "Big Daddy" to me.
