Um...yeah, about that sleep thing...
Sounds really good! Never heard of the publisher before though.
If you're one for podcasts, JapanesePod101.com is an excellent resource.
Go for it, Nadia. I'm all for more people knowing about these nutjobs.
Yeah, the whole movement from "the cone of light/lightsaber" to blurred to now adding scenes for US audiences. Ah... the VCR memories...
Yay! I'm an elitist when it comes to the HP books. I refuse to buy the US version since the text is slightly tweaked from the original British (although they've gotten a lot better). And I like the original artwork a lot better. Hence I import from Canada. Chapters has it on pre-order for $26.
Um, yeah... Me? Credits please! :D
See, now I think swapping "anime" and "animation" interchangeably is disrespectful to the folks making animation that isn't anime or anime-style. You're giving them a label on how their creative work should look like. You don't call French comics "comics" -- they're la bande dessinee. Likewise Avatar isn't anime; it's a US cartoon that borrows heavily from Japanese styling, part of the criss-cross of culture (especially in moving pictures) that has been occuring for years. [And thus the debate begins... yet again. ;D]
I *loved* Cybersix! Had the first three or four episodes on VHS. It's a shame it died so young and didn't take off in the US, or rather, didn't have the chance to.

Right now, I'm working on the adaptation of the second volume of He Is My Master. I've got the third volume lined up this summer, along with the second book of The Last Uniform. [Incidentally, the infamous Nymphet is/was from my hand as well. Too bad no one will see it now, alas.] Venus Versus Virus, The Last Uniform, He Is My Master and Kashimashi volume three are all coming out in June/July, so you can find me on the bookshelf. I do some freelancing for Seven Seas' website, but I'm going to try to toss in some articles for Newtype or AI, even try for that new Otaku USA 'zine. I'm also seeing about broadening my adaptation work to other companies as well.
