Update: Three New Posters for G.I JOE - Jun 24, 2008 - 06:08am
The characters are not too young. I don't want to see a bunch of 40+ guys running around, saying a bunch of vet jokes and how they are getting too old for this... Plus they are the right age to mature with the series if its successful.

New Spy Photos for TRANSFORMERS Sequel - Jun 23, 2008 - 07:22am
hmmm if that Corvette is an Autobot, it would have to be Tracks. The vain flying vette from the series who hung with the puerto rican breakdancing, car thief in NY.

Favreau Talks About IRON MAN 2 - Jun 06, 2008 - 12:31am
Wait... "a Captain American shield making a cameo"? When the hell did this happen?

New HULK Trailer - May 15, 2008 - 06:48am
All I know is I saw him do the Thunder Clap in the preview. I don't care if he speaks or not with that kinda Carnage going on! Either way he is obviously doing a whole lot of SMASHING!

Adam Brody Talks LEAGUE, Flash - May 15, 2008 - 06:43am
And what does it mean to be jealous of Spiderman? Where is Sonyman when you need him???

Adam Brody Talks LEAGUE, Flash - May 15, 2008 - 06:42am
LMAO Ryan Reynolds IS Flash! Honestly, I think it is a stall tactic by WB/DC to observe Marvel's plan of action and copy their success or distance themselves from its (Dare I say it) potential Failure. So far, in this new era of comic movies, they are tied. Batman Begins was a hit, Iron Man is a hit. Superman Returns was like Hulk with mixed reviews and more dislikes than likes by the majority. These are the next generation films, which are going to be involved in their respective universes with interaction with other characters. I don't count any of the previous attempts because they were not actually Marvel contorlled, whether they were great films or just so so. Whatever happens from this point forward will determine the fate of Comic movies for the next 20 years.

Drunken Vader Attacks Church Members - May 15, 2008 - 06:30am
True, true, "THE7"! They were all hypocrites! Jedis that cannot defend themselves? Jedis that can't use the force? But then again, the jedis got their asses kicked by a drunken Darth Vader in "Revenge of the Sith" as well! Maybe, this guy is on to something. I sense he will bring balance to the Force!

DRAGONBALL - Chatwin as Goku - May 12, 2008 - 06:29am
He already had the face! The hair compliments nice in a more realistic way! I could care less about the authenticity of the story if the story they develop is a good one. Most of the things in the anime didn't hold up to reality anyway, and I'm so so about talking animals, so good riddens to that if they dismissed it. Adaptations are just that; Adaptations so, I expect Adaptations in the film! I'm a fan and I will stay a fan until it proves to be a bad film, not by hearsay or conjecture... and definitely not by jaded opinions. KAKARAT!!!

BOND's Aston Martin Goes Fishing - Apr 21, 2008 - 06:03am
Is that the only reason you haven't bought one? lol

Two New Featurettes for SPEED - Apr 15, 2008 - 07:03am
GO!

New Poster for Norton's HULK - Apr 15, 2008 - 06:01am
Nice Pic... I like how he has his back to the Hulk like he is trying to leave that behind him and move on.

BABYLON A.D Cut Rumors Denied - Apr 12, 2008 - 06:29am
Thanks for the credit, but I was more concerned with my favorite site getting slammed for spreading false rumors lol... I got lucky with that info. I was just paying attention for once.

Mummy Joe, Babylon Butchered & Bloom Madness! - Apr 11, 2008 - 06:24am
Not to stir the pot, but the rumor about Babylon AD is FALSE! This is directly from the Babylon AD myspace page at www.myspace.com/babylonadmovie The Blog on the Rumor can be reached via http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=148885877&blogID=376829383 Here it is in entirety... Hello all you Babylon AD friends ! The last days have been busy with news about the length and the rating of Babylon AD. I always find it amazing to see rumors grow from other rumors or misunderstanding. Therefore I think the time is good to give you some updates. Babylon AD has never had a 2h40min cut. This rumor came from a joke Mathieu did in front of some journalists last september. Apparently some of them didn't understand it... The approximate length of the film is 1h40min and this is what has been delivered to our partner, FOX. So I can reassure you, FOX is not chopping up the film and cutting 70min like I read on Rotten Tomatoes ! :-) Oh and about the PG13, that was a contractual agreement between Fox and us, so there is no surprise on that end. The truth is Fox - like any other studio - will have their final cut on their territories and Mathieu Kassovitz has his on the European ones. So there will naturally be a few differences between the two versions. Now about the film, StudioCanal is working on teasers and the poster for the European territories as I speak. A French teaser should be released on the web quite soon ! Stay tuned for the next blog update! Best, Guyom

McConaughey Is the New MAGNUM P.I? - Apr 03, 2008 - 06:07am
I think he can do it. I am not too concerned about the status of his mustache since the status of the mustache has greatly declined since back then and now you look more like a pedophile than macho with a big ole mustache (just think how funny Colin looked in the Miami Vice Movie with that pseudo mustache).

Cast Ready to Battle Angels in LEGION - Mar 28, 2008 - 07:05am
Wasn't the 7th Sign about this? And she had a baby at the end of the movie or something like that? Can't Remember. I like these kind of movies because if nothing else, it should make people rethink some of their beliefs. And Bigthor, I thought that was an excellent piece of sarcasm, to say that a movie based on a religion is not an original story (if you meant it that way, that is)

DreamWorks Takes on Action Spec C.O.D - Mar 24, 2008 - 06:23am
Wow... another original story. Yet, still no comments. Why is it that for every typical, remake, rehash, duplicate story, tons of people complain, yet for an original, there are no comments? Interesting...

Sony and Smith Oversees LONG RUN - Mar 24, 2008 - 06:21am
Hmmm... Original Plot. Perfect setting for tension, drama, and suspense. Now he's a producer moving into the big leagues... GO WILL!!!!

All Hail PHARAOH Smith? - Mar 24, 2008 - 06:12am
I can actually see the entire Smith family in this movie. Of course that might be an overkill, but, I wouldn't mind seeing Jada in some Nubian attire...

Scott and DiCaprio Reteam for DWELLER - Mar 21, 2008 - 07:27am
You are killing me today, HANSO!!! What is going on...

First Look at G.I Joe's SNAKE EYES - Mar 21, 2008 - 07:24am
Hanso, that was AWESOME!!! This is definitely Generation 1 GI Joe. The Mark on his shoulder is of the Arashikage Clan of Storm Shadows Family. It was not on the original Snake Eyes toy but it was on several later versions. Yes, I still have them, and yes, I still "interact" with them from time to time. It helps with my writing.

Yelchin Playing Reese in TERMINATOR - Mar 19, 2008 - 10:20am
Agreed rgtchtiger, the ones that came in and shot up the refugees, was not rubber skinned, but it wasn't Arnold either. So, I don't know if they were the same model as Arnold just with a different face, or if they were an in between model... Time will tell.

Lima Helming Spook's APPRENTICE - Mar 19, 2008 - 07:45am
I don't see any relation of this to Harry Potter other than the word "Wizardry".

Beau Bridges Mentoring MAX PAYNE - Mar 19, 2008 - 07:42am
Yeah, a great likeness but his voice is borderline Michael Jackson! Marky Mark is code for Mickey Mouse!

JUSTICE LEAGUE Losing Against Australia - Mar 19, 2008 - 07:40am
Uh... I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Australia does have a point, when the movie IS called JLA which stands for Justice League of AMERICA! I don't think they spent too much time in other places around the world accept rarely. If anyone can remember one JLA comic centered around Australia? You got Metropolis, Smallville, Gotham, etc... The Amazon Island is in an unknown location, but it sure ain't Australia. I don't think it matters, but I do think Australia is trying to gain a piece of the Industry, and they want to see themselves more in films represented as actual Australians. It's just a power move. But, if I were WB, I wouldn't look to shoot anything else there anytime soon, just to teach them a lesson.

Raimi Leading New JACK RYAN Trilogy - Mar 19, 2008 - 07:32am
Raimi was tied to the Spiderman series moreso because of special effects and development than anything else. A Jack Ryan series will not require half the time of a spiderman film to make, so he will have time in between movies to do other stuff, especially more Evil Dead. He pumps those movies out in months anyways. Jack Ryan movies will spread out over a couple of years between them so he won't be locked down indefinitely.

Yelchin Playing Reese in TERMINATOR - Mar 19, 2008 - 07:27am
If you all remember the first Terminator movie, Reese had dreams of the future. In one scene he saw several different terminators coming in to kill everyone and none were Arnold. The Early editions, were not perfect as the Arnold version though, that is, in their human imitation. So, I can see where that is coming from.

Mangold Takes on CYCLOPS - Mar 18, 2008 - 05:47am
Condemned was the first update to Running Man. This is just dealing with the world of Reality TV we have come to love so much... and I'm not talking about MTV. I'm talking about CNN and MSNBC. I'm actually expecting this type of thing to air on television soon already. So, I am looking forward to this movie.

Berg Confirmed for DUNE - Mar 18, 2008 - 05:42am
Anyone old enough to appreciate the original Dune is not in the fan base this remake is being made for. They know you will either see it after the buzz catches you or on DVD one way or the other. These remakes of Classics are actually done by visionaries who loved the original films and always wanted to see them with better special effects etc, so that today's generations can see it for the first time and love it.

Gellar Deciding When VERONIKA Dies - Mar 14, 2008 - 06:14am
This should be on the Oxygen network!

MUMMY Continues After Dragon Emperor? - Mar 11, 2008 - 08:10am
wow poor 8lbs 6oz baby Jesus!

TERMINATOR Loses the Salvation Title - Mar 11, 2008 - 07:38am
Seriously though... I think they should drop the Terminator moniker altogether and move onto a totally new title. OR even better, just call it "THE MACHINE WARS" .

TERMINATOR Loses the Salvation Title - Mar 11, 2008 - 07:29am
Hmmm... Takes place before and after the original trilogy... Then a perfect name would be "Terminator: Before the day after yesterday"

MUMMY Continues After Dragon Emperor? - Mar 11, 2008 - 07:23am
I'm just realizing how ironic it is for this "Indiana Jones" copy to come out during the same summer as Indiana Jones. Aren't both of these films now taking place in the same time periods? I can see them crossing paths now... Rick What's with that stupid whip? Indiana What's with that stupid look on your face?

SAG Causing High Profile Film Delays? - Feb 28, 2008 - 06:10am
I really hate unions!

Edward Norton Getting Angry for HULK - Feb 28, 2008 - 06:07am
I liked the interpretation of Bana's Banner (say that 10 times fast). But, it was not the Banner from the comics or show. BAnner was frail and fearful. Bana was not frail at all. He even tried to fight. Banner would never try to fight anyone (accept Thor-see last episode of show).

WB Preparing JUSTICE LEAGUE for 2009 - Feb 27, 2008 - 01:49pm
I can tell you right now that there will be no relating the Justice League to the Avengers film, just because Marvel is dealing with a story complexity that is on point if they can successfully translate it to their movies...

WB Preparing JUSTICE LEAGUE for 2009 - Feb 27, 2008 - 06:15am
Having different actors play the characters is like having different artists draw the comics with their own versions of the heroes. Nobody stops buying comics for that reason, so why should it be any different in the comic to movie arena? There is no validation to support that this will not be a good movie, just because you don't like the set up. When Keanu Reeves first was said to be in the Matrix, I thought that was a horrible idea. But it worked out. Good story can make it happen. The only question is George Miller, whom to my knowledge has not tackled an action film since Mad Max? Am I wrong?

Abrams Updates CLOVERFIELD 2 & TREK - Feb 23, 2008 - 11:09pm
I have a feeling that the Cloverfield sequel will be the same movie from a normal perspective or a direct continuation of whatever happened in the movie presuming the monster didn't die, since there is no reason to assume that it did (all without the shaky cam effect).

Twelve Inches of JONES! - Feb 23, 2008 - 11:03pm
So, I assume the "Swords Man" is back for the Crystal Skull?

Cameron Updates Status on AVATAR - Feb 22, 2008 - 06:25am
There are very few original ideas in movies period (whether you realize it or not)! There are just different interpretations based on the writer mixed with the unique creative vision of the director. Stories like these are timeless. They will continue to be retold because they are a moral based premise. And morality is married to tragedy, a perfect movie formula!

First Glimpse at New WOLVERINE - Feb 14, 2008 - 08:51am
JJ Jamison and Professor X were perfect castings! I actually think Beast was cast dead on as well! Hellboy could only be Ron Pearlman. He's Hellboy without the red makeup lol. And Wesley was 100% Blade, hands down.

Official INDIANA JONES Teaser Online - Feb 14, 2008 - 07:44am
He still fits that character like a glove! It has the same feel of the other films. I'm convinced... the 60's are the new 20's! Between Bruce Willis last summer, Stallone, and now this... they taking it back. All we are missing now is old Arnold back in the gym and acting again, Gibson in Lethal Weapon 5 and we got a full retro Hollywood!!

First Glimpse at New WOLVERINE - Feb 14, 2008 - 03:30am
Beyond height and claw lengths... doesn't anyone notice the extra hair on his arms and chest... Definitely more authentic to the comic look with that and the extended claws. Now they just need to get that mop on his head right...

No Dinobots in TRANSFORMERS 2 - Feb 13, 2008 - 06:03am
Dinobots were made on the cartoon as an experiment Wheeljack did after finding some dinosaur fossils in their mountain/ship base and being fascinated by them and their brute size and strength. That is why they were dumb. They were made to immulate the small brains of dinosaurs. But, he made them armored and powerful. In the movies, Ratchet is not the experimental one (just medical officer) so there is no one to make the Dinobots in the first place (he helped Wheeljack but was not the scientist, just the assistant). Not to mention the fact that if a protoform showed up and disguised himself as a dinosaur, they would then have to explain why he was so damn dumb to do such a thing. When could he ever hide? Not as a robot or a dinosaur... so that blows the robots in disguise concept out the water real fast. So I support his decision even though it would be cool to see.

AUSTRALIA Epic Has a Debut Date - Feb 08, 2008 - 06:05am
Will we see Crocodile Jackman face the Pygmies instead of Indians and crazy snakes and crocs while eating wild Koala?

International Trailer for TAKEN - Feb 05, 2008 - 06:29am
Wow!

First Trailer for M.Night's HAPPENING - Feb 05, 2008 - 06:26am
This will be very interesting and at least mess with a few heads if nothing else. He usually has some sort of religious undertone to his films and a reluctant hero or anti-hero. His formulas are brilliant. Lady in the Water was great just because of Paul G's performance alone as a stuttering blunder! The pay off in his movies are rarely climax based though so you sometimes have to read between the lines to get his point (similar to the Birds). HE is definitely in the vein of Hitchcock and Anthony Mann...

Dreamworks Acquires Ghostly ACTIVITY - Jan 31, 2008 - 05:05am
Chances are this will not have shakey cam effects because they will have the cam on a tripod "at night as they sleep".

Paramount Confirms CLOVERFIELD 2 - Jan 31, 2008 - 05:03am
Cloverfield was exactly what it was supposed to be and I enjoyed it (shakey cam and all). I was expecting a sequel for a bunch of reasons, one being obvious that the documentation that was stated at the beginning of the camera appeared to reflect that there may have been more than one site and more than one beastie they had to deal with in different areas around world. Either that or they will be telling it from another camera perspective.

New 'Suit' Photos for HANCOCK - Jan 28, 2008 - 02:45pm
I'm in for the film but that outfit looks a little to warm for LA weather. HE looks more like a superhero from Chicago!

Update: Quaid, Vosloo & Tatum Confirmed For G.I JOE - Jan 28, 2008 - 06:43am
I think he is kinda too young too, but then again, how old do you really need to be to kick somebodies ass? If he comes with the right attitude, a seasoned Marine Core Recon doesn't have to be old to be bad ass!!! If he joined at 18 and is 26 thats a solid block of ass whooping time he put in.

WB Planning Tie-in Bonanza for SPEED RACER - Jan 26, 2008 - 12:12pm
I didn't realize this was rated G! Interesting... That opens up its market already for potential sales skyrocketing.

Statham Confirms TRANSPORTER 3 and More. - Jan 25, 2008 - 04:53am
He'd actually be a great Winter Soldier. I would say Captain America but he has the cranky accent.

SPOILER X-FILES 2 Pics Online - Jan 23, 2008 - 07:34am
WTF??? So... Benicio Del Toro is in this film too? LOL

Stallone Opens up on RAMBO and DEATH WISH - Jan 22, 2008 - 05:28am
He seems to really be enjoying this time in his life. He seems to finally have found his nitch and his working it well. Stallone's in his second childhood lol I'm pretty much up for whatever he does as long as his passion remains focused on the emotion and deep character development the way he's been pitching it.

First still of STAR TREK'S Enterprise online - Jan 18, 2008 - 04:19pm
The ship does have differences. The engines are larger and the midsection is different. I wanna see it in action!

Cloverfield Manga: Last Minute Hype - Jan 17, 2008 - 06:18am
SAW CLOVERFIELD SCREENING LAST NIGHT!!!! ( NO SPOILERS) Godzilla who? No relation. All I will say is that you cannot predict what you are going to see if you tried...

Myriad, Studio 407 Adapting HYBRID Comic - Jan 16, 2008 - 06:11am
Sounds like the secret plot of Cloverfield...

New DRAGONBALL Set Photos and Videos - Jan 16, 2008 - 06:02am
(sounding like Homer) mmmmmmmmm drink of "Matrix".... This movies is going to need something special to convince me that it is actually a worthy Dragonball flick. It appears to be a silly comical look with the orange fighting uniforms. I thought they would do without all the bright colored outfits. I'll give them one thing... minus the physique, Justin Chatwin looks just like a young Goku. Same facial structure and chin. Same look in his eyes, like an amazed child. hmmm....

WB Grabs a BUCKET of Cash - Jan 13, 2008 - 04:32pm
BTW Wessmith... why did you go see the film again?

Ashley Tisdale Fights Aliens from UPSTAIRS - Jan 10, 2008 - 07:41am
YIKES... SONYMAN!

Some New Photos of CENTER OF THE EARTH 3D - Jan 10, 2008 - 07:40am
Haven't you guys read the theories on the "Hollow Earth"? There is a natural lighting caused by both the internal Sun and by various natural gases that glow in the inner atmosphere... duh lol serioulsy that is one of the theories going around, so I am sure they will update recent theories into the story.

Update: Oil Platform destroyed by CLOVERFIELD Monster - Jan 07, 2008 - 09:15am
Ok... I didn't know. Either way, I am creeped out by the Slusho! commercials I've seen. It reminds me of "The Stuff"... anyone remember that flick?

Update: Oil Platform destroyed by CLOVERFIELD Monster - Jan 07, 2008 - 08:22am
So it seems that the new marketing scheme for Hollywood is to have scenes of action from the movie that will not be in the actual movie... similar to the Joker scene for TDK. Seems like a good idea to me. I'm for it. Can anyone explain why the source of the monsters origin appears to be in ROME? Or did I just misunderstand the map?

Bay Promises More Robots in TRANSFORMERS 2 - Jan 03, 2008 - 06:04am
Frank Welker's voice sounded dry and old... too old on the Transformers game as Megatron. They made a good choice in replacing him in the film.

Top Performers for 2007 & A Look at 2008 - Jan 02, 2008 - 07:24am
I have to disagree with you there smegforbrain... While there is no Spiderman 3 or POTC or Shrek 3, there is Indy 4, Mummy 3, Hellboy 2, TDK, and a sneaky bastard called Speed Racer (which I am wagering will be one of the top 3 before the summer is over). We won't even go into how Superhero movies rule (hulk and Iron Man). There is enough viable action to consume our pockets for sure and top last year. And I didn't even mention Star Trek and the day the Earth stood still which are both going to do some damage just on GP, plus anohter Will Smith Movie... Good Grief!!! IT will be a good year. Top 10 Indiana Jones Wall E Sped Racer The Dark Knight Horton Hears a Who Hellboy Iron Man James Bond The Day the Earth Stood Still (My Wild Card) Dragonball or Mummy (Tie) Considering this may change depending on Previews etc. I will not etch this in stone just yet, But, I am holding to most of it...

First Teaser Trailer for HELLBOY II - Dec 21, 2007 - 05:14am
Actually, the native american would be the brown man and to consider yourself red should be an insult in and of itself. (Sarcasm-I am not being serious)

New K.I.T.T Car Polished & Ready to Roll - Dec 13, 2007 - 12:57pm
It looks like this mustang is getting a lot of work lately... He has played 2 legendary characters. First, he played a Transformer named Barricade and now KITT!!! And for the record... American Gladiators was the Shiizznit!

Updated: AvP Intro & look at the PREDATOR Planet - Dec 12, 2007 - 02:03am
LMAO!!!!

WGA Strike Talks Collapse - Dec 08, 2007 - 09:07am
You all are forgetting one small detail. The Unions and the companies are the old mobs in new form strong arming the business. It is the way in entertainment overall that will not be going anywhere anytime soon. Besides, everyone knows what happens when you cross a strike line... So, who wants to be the first independent writer to take a job from the WGA during this strike?

Francis Lawrence Talks I AM LEGEND - Dec 08, 2007 - 08:52am
Every movie you will ever see in the theatres or anywhere else is a so-called "edited" film. Editing is a part of the film making process. If they did not edit the movie, I would probably not go see it then...

First Look at RACER X - Dec 05, 2007 - 07:41am
ooooooooooooooo!

Sienna Miller Fights Against G.I JOE - Nov 21, 2007 - 09:14am
I truly hope there is this much fighting going on in the GI Joe movie! This blog has more action than both Fantastic 4 films put together!!! Lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeetttttttttttttttttss get ready to Rrrrrrrrrrruuuuuuuummmmmmbbbbbbbbllleee! To be honest, if anything demonstrates what America is supposed to represent, its these postings! So many conflicting views and idealogies and every one of them as arrogant and self righteous as the previous! Sounds like the America that has to save the world from themselves to me! And I am not trying to insult, I just want us to realize that if America is about Freedom, then even after someone states BS or insults you, because it is their Freedom, you have the Freedom to ignore them. But once you start looking for insults of mass destruction, the fight will never end, and wheres the liberty and freedom in that? YO JOE!!!

HEROES & CLOVERFIELD Cross Over - Nov 21, 2007 - 08:01am
The SLUSHO! legend from their website made it appear that the SLUSHO! product or its secret ingredient is the cause of the monster, directly or indirectly. So, it appears that the SLUSHO! drink is tied to the plot of the story, especially if its given that much effort to advertise.

The New JUSTICE LEAGUE Cast? - Nov 19, 2007 - 10:34am
All they have to do is dye pretty boys hair blonde like they did with Sue Storm and you got your Aquaman. I could care less about him being in the film either way. He's not one of my favs at all. But who knows what they will look like after make up gets to them.

DRAGON BALL Z Hits Theaters Next Summer - Nov 14, 2007 - 07:23am
I can see them starting with Piccolo evil because it makes it easier to relate to when the series goes ballistic and people are weary of Piccolo, namely Bolma, Krillon, and Yamcha etc... I saw a few images of Justin that reveal he does have that boyish charm that Goku has in his goofy moments. I still have to see him with the Saiyan hair to get the full effect.

First Images of Quinto's SPOCK Online - Nov 13, 2007 - 06:48am
He looks just like the version of Young Spock from Start Trek III. True fans will see that. Or did you all bitch and moan over that scene too? Blah blah he doesn't look like Spock.

Jack Nicholson Talks About Nolan's JOKER - Nov 08, 2007 - 06:41am
He was obviously pullin the reporters chain for even asking such a stupid question of him... "Let me be the way I'm not in interviews." Classic

Sam Worthington May Lead G.I JOE - Oct 31, 2007 - 09:03am
Metal Water, I suggest you check out the more recent reinvention of the GI Joe Comics. It addresses all of this in its writings which lends to why the GI Joe are classified and only go by "Code Names". According to the comic, GI Joe is a secret because certain powers that be in the US Government are able to be bought out or manipulated by madmen and idealists such as Cobra Commander, and thus can't be trusted. COBRA is now a terrorist cell with members of the US senate, congress, and military in its ranks promoting the overthrow of the American Way due to its flaws in Capitalism and pyramid social class built to sustain the elite rich (all in the comics by the way). So, chances are to keep it up to date with that modernization of a Real American Hero, there will be similar relations in the new movie.

UNDERWORLD Prequel Cast & Plot Update - Oct 26, 2007 - 09:26am
Why go back before the current story has been resolved? There is so much more to tell in the current storyline as of the end of UW2.

New Photo of PREDALIEN Appears Online - Oct 26, 2007 - 08:48am
Didn't it rain on the surface of the planet in Aliens? And, the tie in between Predator and Aliens was easily noted in Predator 2 where the skull of an Alien was on his mantle. And the comics has had the Aliens crossing over from Predator to the Superman series. So, the premise of this is very accepted and potentially great in my book. Its just the execution that I am waiting for... And as far as story, pick any good movie and throw a predator in it and if done right it will be one helluva action/horror flick. I would like to see the Predator in the next Ocean's flick. Or, maybe show up in Harry Potter...

Freeestyle Takes On Martial Arts in FIFTH - Oct 25, 2007 - 08:00am
Keith David would be a tough father!!!

Doug Liman Transforms KNIGHT RIDER - Sep 28, 2007 - 07:02am
I'm thinking they mean transform less like an autobot into a robot, but instead moreso like the Gadget Mobile from minivan to sports car...

DARK KNIGHT Crew Member Killed - Sep 25, 2007 - 11:14pm
Seriously... usually when an auto crashes into something it is called an "Accident". So, lets leave it as an accident and move on.

Tom Welling OUT of JLA Movie - Sep 22, 2007 - 08:09am
And look at it like this. This is DC owned, so the same minds that have 6 different Batman films and 100 different alternate universes in their comic world, seem to like variety and variations to exist simultaneously. I never was able to successfully image the Routh Superman and the Bale Batman in the same universe the way they act and the way the two worlds visually looked. My only question is why so soon?

Lucas Talks Indy Sr. For CRYSTAL SKULL - Sep 19, 2007 - 06:35am
The title does suck though. I can't help but think of House 2, whenever I hear about a crystal skull (shudders).

INDIANA JONES 4 Update: New Video - Aug 14, 2007 - 08:06am
Didn't Allan Quartermain (however you spell it) already find the lost city of Gold? That sounds more like a mayan or aztec angle.

CASTLE WOLFENSTEIN Gets a Director - Aug 03, 2007 - 08:37am
Silent Hill was an excellent adaptation of a video game franchise. Doom was just another movie. Not the worst, but not the best either. Considering Hadida and Avary's track record, I don't see any reason why this wouldn't turn out decent. I It wasn't too long ago that Comics were considered horrible source material for movies. I think some like Avary have figured out the magic formula and can pull off successful game adaptations. Thats just my understanding of it though.

Same Director for GOW & ESCAPE Remake? - Aug 03, 2007 - 08:26am
The key to making a successful game into a successful movie, is not to focus on the game elements but more on the source material for the mythology to be translated onto film, then just recreate the visuals and let it go its own way. I don't want to see a film that follows the plot of the game. Nor do I want to see a film that immitates scenes directly from the game. Slight creativity is all I ask. I liked how Silent Hill was done. Doom did not focus on the source material so much and as they did visuals and we see the result there...

Universal Wants SHINOBI Remake - Jul 31, 2007 - 10:59am
Shinobi was a 3 part series that was syndicated on television in Japan I think (I question the television mini-series perspective). I have seen them on DVD and they have great potential for a good Ninja film (the DVD's were very simple in special effects and quality). I don't see the point of remaking it without the actual ninja aspect or without it being with Japanese in Japan, although I am not sure if they meant Ninja National Security Forces, or just NSF's. For the record, there have been several Shinobi films or series, none of which relate to the video game.

Grunberg Set For 1-18-08 - Jul 26, 2007 - 12:38pm
What's the connection to the Rampage game that leads you to that conclusion? And, why does everyone ignore that there is a website called www.parasitemovie.com that has the preview on it? Wouldn't that lead to the conclusion that the movie is called Parasite? I am just wondering what people think...

Disney Bans SMOKING From Movies - Jul 26, 2007 - 12:31pm
You don't prevent youth from smoking by taking it out of films. There are adults that smoke in public and in private. Will the police arrest or fine an individual for smoking a cigarette in front of a child? I doubt it. So, why attack a symptom of the problem and not the problem. And, the fact is I don't think it is a problem. I think it is a freedom that we have to choose for ourselves what we want to do, and a teenager who smokes should have his/her parents to answer to if the parents are against it. If not, who can say anything at all? Information changes people through choices. Restrictions force changes on people thus taking away Freedom, but not the desire to do what is restricted. I got a big problem with the direction this is going.

Disney Bans SMOKING From Movies - Jul 26, 2007 - 08:37am
Can anyone say NWO?

CONNOR CHRONICLES' Scene to be Redone - Jul 24, 2007 - 02:42pm
A lot of this same negative talk was made for Smallville when it first was being aired. And look at its success! You can't predict where this show will head or what they actually have in mind as a story arc to say it will not be successful. I know I personally enjoyed the Sara and John relationship as much as the terminator scenes. I think this has a nice chance of going somewhere and I really hope it doesn't end up like Blade the series.
