I agree with all of you, who care's about the lead, lol! Did anybody play Godzilla on the Sega Dreamcast?

My guess is that this movie much like the heralded remake of "The Creature from the Black Lagoon," never gets made.   First they'll rewrite the script,  then they'll bring in a new director when Gareth Edwards leaves to work on another project and the movie will never actually go into production.  It was never going to be what you all wanted anway.  Edwards said in an interview "My main idea was to imagine if this really happened what would it be like?  I want to take a grounded realistic approach to a Godzilla film."  Do those words sound like the new Godzilla was going to be fighting other monsters and annihilating cities or does it sound like Gareth was going to turn the new Godzilla flick into Cloverfield 2 ?  I suggest you all try to get a hold of a  blu-ray copy of the 1968 Godzilla movie "Destroy All Monsters," and enjoy,  instead of waiting years for a Godzilla remake that may never happen.

Godzilla should fight Megalon.  I must've watched Godzilla vs. Megalon a hundred times when I was a kid.  Pretty sure I wore out the tape.  Of course that was the only Godzilla movie I owned.

@VTGamehendge - Thats the spirit, Sir, I actually remember the time NBC ran G-vs-Megalon with John Belushi hosting, lmao!!!!!

Godzilla vs Megalon was always my favortie back in the day.  I was disappointed that Jet Jaguar never made any more appearances.  They didn't even include him in Godzilla: Final Wars.
