"I know it’s silly, but this show still makes me laugh really hard."

No shame there. A & C were brilliant. Their TV stint got them back to the roots that propelled them to stardom in the first place... vaudville. Costello's bio was an interesting read, by the way.

personally I'm wondering about the "...and MORE" stuff that will be included in the second disk, I already own the 1954 American version with Raymond Burr and watched that with my two little nephews (they were traumatized!!!) One thing I noticed that the movie starts off with Raymond Burr (Steve Martin) pulling himself from the rubble and being taken to a hospital and telling his story to Emiko Yamane (the daughter of the scientist Kyohei Yamane-hakase) he' bloody but he's not bandaged yet. Then later on in the movie when the movie finally catches up to the beginning, Steve Martin is all heavily bandaged up while telling his story to Emiko Yamane!! OOPS! LOL!!
anyway, I watched this version in theaters (that was such a treat watching a subtitled G-flick, I passed out and fell fast asleep!!! LOL! Its hard for me to read movies. Its quite a differnt cut than the American version... almost two different flicks.
I wish they would release the japanese version of Godzilla vs King Kong (where "G" wins) oh that and Godzilla 85 and G vs Biolante too.

Sorry to tell you this, but I've got the original Japanese version of "King Kong vs Godzilla" and it has the same ending as the American version. That rumor that Godzilla wins in the Japanese version was just an urban legend that Forry Ackerman cooked up in an old issue of Famous Monsters of Filmland. Still, the Japanese version is interesting, if only because it's more overtly a comedy.
