This is definitely not in our genre here at Mania, but it is directed by David Fincher. The director that brought us Fight Club, The Game, Zodiac, and Se7en is always worth checking out. Check out the trailer for Gone Girl below.

 Fincher is a master.

Watching the trailer made me think that if this was unravelling in real life, on TV and the internet, based on what I just saw I'd probably think the husband was guilty (even without a body or any real evidence...Affleck's character seems so effing ungenuine).  When I see the movie I expect  the story will tell me why I shouldn't have jumped to that conclusion (or maybe not).

Agree with goatartist...Fincher is a master.  What harm can it do, to expose fanboys to this.

I was about to give you crap about this not being in our genre...but dang, was I pulled in after watching the trailer.

This could end up being a very good movie.

Is the reason why this story is being featured on a Sci-Fi site because Ben is playing Bat Man in another movie?

Looks interesting.  I'm in.  Bear in mind with these types of movies and most of the Indies he has been involved with Ben Affleck really steps up with his performances.  Given the right script he's a great actor.
