GOTHIKA screenwriter Sebastian Gutierrez has a new job. The wordsmith will direct
RISE, a supernatural thriller that he also wrote for Senator International and that's now in the casting stage. The premise sounds a bit like
THE CROW: a female reporter awakes in the city morgue to find that she's been killed and she vows revenge against the ones that took her life.
This isn't Gutierrez's first time behind the lens: he also helmed
JUDAS KISS and an HBO film.
