ABCNEWS.go.com covers the building buzz around the possibility that the California Republican Party will look to Arnold Schwarzenegger as their next gubernatorial candidate in the golden bear state.
The plus-sized thespian's backing of a successful $550m education measure is credited with enhancing the Cali GOP's sugar-plum dreams of a Terminator-run state government.
"To me it's a great honor to be considered for those kind of things," the actor told the Associated Press. "I think it's great people say, 'He's the ideal candidate' or 'He can win.' Obviously, it's much better if people say that than if they say the opposite. But I don't have a plan like that."
