Grammer Acts Like a BEAST in X3

X-Men Films has reported that Kelsey Grammer's portrayal of "Beast" will have one of the most interesting roles in upcoming X-MEN 3. Director Brett Ratner will supposedly "dig deep into the minds of mutants who are not blessed with 'normal' looks."

Even though Beast has lived with his mutation for some time, Grammer will bring alive his struggle with his physical self. "Dark blue, gray, black fur, and strong animal-like features aren't exactly looked upon as 'normal' and at times in the film we will see him questioning something that might be able to help his problems."

Hummm... Kelsey Grammer is a fine actor... it sounds like "Beast" will be one of the main characters in this film, like "Nightcrawler" was in the last film.

I can't wait to see how he looks. Grammer's voice is perfect for Beast. This should be really interesting to see how Grammer will do playing a role like this, it's different from anything we have ever seen him do.

I think Frasier as a big, blue harry guy might be quite entertaining. I'm looking forward to seeing his character come to life.

Perhaps they should introduce his character with Beast hanging out at the coffee shop sipping coffee with Niles, while talking psychology. That would be such a hoot. LOL! : )

"Even though Beast has lived with his mutation for some time"

Hmm... I wonder how long they are defining that. Considering the fact he appeared in the first movie as Dr. Hank Mccoy in human form...

Hey guys, on the whole X3 "Ratner" issue. We all love comic movies, but all the fans who are anti-Ratner really aren't helping. Let's judge the movie after it comes out. When X3 comes out, I'm going to go to see it and make my judgement after the fact. Let's give Ratner a chance!

''Hmm... I wonder how long they are defining that. Considering the fact he appeared in the first movie as Dr. Hank Mccoy in human form...''

Well IIkj18, maybe in the movie he was using one of his image inducer thingy to hide is true self and only when he's with his mutant friends he shows his real appearance.

And it makes sense, I mean, if the X-men can have a giant spaceship that comes out of a basketball field, I'm sure the beast can come up with an image scrambler thingy also.

jedibanner and llkj18. If I remember correctly in the beginning Beast wasn't hairry or blue he was human looking, with a few animal like traits. It wasn't till he almost died and (I can't remember who saved him) but it made him hairy and blue. So maybe we'll get to see this happen or maybe Ratner will take some liberties for film-sake.

up till now i had no problems with the actors they have got to be the various characters in the xmen series. but grammer in a serious role like this? you have got to be kidding? i am sorry but everytime i watch grammer it reminds me of what he is known for, cheers, his spin off, frasier, and that one movie he probably wished everyone would forget, down periscope. what else has he really been in? i think only toy story 2 did him any justice...

hope i am wrong about this, but i think this mistake alone could cost them a good movie...

DAWNTREADER how much more serious can you get than criminal mastermind or just plain lonely Bob Tewilliger(did I spell that right?) His depth brings drama to the masterful Simpsons. And he was pure magic in 15 minutes. And let us not forget David Hyde Pierce in Hellboy as Abe Sapien-former Must See Tv stars can truly show some chops when it comes down to it. How about Harry Anderson as CABLE. I believe the term is OSCAR!!!!!!!!!! And why not Tisha Cambell as Storm--imagine how money would be saved not having to stuff Hal E. Berry's tits and butt.

I'm not really thrilled by this bit of casting, but we'll see...
