This looks stupid as all hell.

Can't stand Sandra Bullshit so I'm hoping a meteor the size of a basketball blows her freaking head up when it comes smashing into it at ten thousand miles hour...Now that would make a good movie right there...

wow, you're full of sunshine... bet you're a barrel of good times at a party

I'm calling a flop. But somehow.. in some dark universe.. I know a sequel will emerge.

That's some crazy footage; I'll be checking this one out and might actually be able to convince my anti-sci fi genre wife to see it with me.

It looks fantastic!  I can't wait to see this!

I know Angelina Jolie and RDJ were the original stars associated with this project but they both dropped out. RDJ I believe because of IM3 commitments and in hindsight I could see Jolie leaving because of her breast surgery.

I just crapped my pants.

Looks interesting.  Very cool scene.

You guys have been spoiled...stop complaining about the CGI effects...suspend your reality / disbelief and use your imaginations.  Couldn't have brought you people along to see a sci-fi flick like War of the World's in the 1950's, you would have kept pointing to the strings holding up the alien space craft and ruined the movie for me (I was able to block them out).

MrJawBreakingEquilibrium...I sort of agree with you that floating in the middle of the ocean seems almost as frightening as floating in space...heck slowly dieing in a bed somewhere from terminal cancer is pretty damn frightening too...there aren't many (any) pleasant peaceful ways to depart from this life...I guess the best are the quick moment you're here and the next, you're gone and you don't know what hit you.

Still this seems extra scary because the loneliness of floating in space is off the least when your drowning in the middle of the ocean...there is air and water around you and you're still on the space there's nothing, except that suit you are wearing.
