Great review Tim! I did happen to grow up in the 70's and there really was nothing better than getting your hands on the latest edition of FM. I also agree with you about "Creepy" and "Eerie", to not spend appropriate time with them is to neglect a great part of monster culture in the 70's. I wouldn't mind an overview of somewhat related genre magazines of the time but for $45.00 I'd want thorough and comprehensive coverage of the obvious. Do you happen to remember a magazine called "Comix International"? There weren't many of them, maybe just a few but they were awesome. I think they were all color and featured a lot of Rich Corbin's work. I still have the first 3 issues packed away somewhere.

As a child, I collected Monster mags. I still have all my Famous Monster magazines from the 70's.

About six months ago I purchased a few issues off of E-bay. Your collection might actually be worth a little something depending on how many you have and what condition they're in. They seem to go between 10 and 20 bucks a piece.
