I've gotta say, I can understand why some zombie purists don't like the running zombies, but for me, running zombies just makes the concept of zombies all the more terrifying.  I mean, we all like to think that we'd be able to survive in a Romero zombie world as long as you didn't get yourself surrounded.  But if you make the zombies as fast as 3rd graders running after an ice cream truck, your chances of survival go way down really quickly.

Okay, so I've accepted that due to Nolan's blind sentimentality about Heath Ledger,  he refuses to cast anyone else as the Joker in any further Batman films he's involved with, despite the fact  that this decision completely undermines the entire relationship he's already established between the two characters in the last film.  So much for "beoing destined to do this forever".  Ledger is dead, not the Joker.

However casting Joseph Gordon Levitt as the Riddler would just be insulting since so many of us have been touting him or James Franco as a good replacement for Ledger, should the Joker resurface at some point.

Catwoman, Talia Al Ghul, Azrael, etc.  would be better villain choices in my view, but don't waste someone who would be perfect to step into the Joker's shoes on the Riddler.  The Riddler is a cool villain and all, but you need to find an actor who's right for the role rather than just cramming a decent actor into any ol' role.

First of all, enough with the f*&^ing rumors already !!!!  Why can't these people do what I'm gonna do and wait until Inception comes out and the Nolans say " this is what we're  gonna do".  All your doing is getting peoples hopes up for things that ain't gonna happen, then when we actually get there, thier like " I thought they were gonna," or " but what happen to this guy" or " weren't they gonna do such and such ? It's very annoying. Second of all, can't wait for the Flash, especially if Geoff Johns is doing a scripting it. All though why isn't he on Green Lantern? It'd be more fitting since he's been writing the character since forever.

First of all TimesObserver The Riddler is far from being cartoony just read Hush that is one hell of a story involving The Riddler. As far as who plays him I just can't see JGL playing him especialy against Christian Bale. Now the constantly rumored Johnnie Depp I could see. The Riddler is a thinking villian  which is what Batman needs. He is a more beleavable villian than the Joker and look at how well The Joker turned out in Dark Knight. So to say that The Riddler is cartoony is just silly, either that or your only view of him is  Jim Carrey in Batman Forever.

Heath Ledger is # 3 at best behind Nicholson and the late Boner from Growing Pains in BATMAN DEAD END which is who Ledger's Joker looks alot like minus the straight jacket.

Ledger is tied with Mark Hamill's voice work and above Caesar Romero.

So many people have not seen it and it  is briiliant.

If Mr T did not say that why is he not suing for slander ? Or did they throw money at him to change his statement?

@GLCorpsMember  Thanks for the info.  I guessed they'd go with Barry but didn't remember seeing an official announcement.

Also, given Nolan said somewhere this was the last one, Batman 3 should have Talia in there somewhere to bring it full circle.  The most well-known Bat Bad Guys are, pretty much in order too:  1. Joker 2. Pengiun 3. Catwoman 4. Riddler  so bringing Ledger back for a major role, unless he "teamed up" with Talia,  would have been a bit irritating.

Im waiting for the announcement that Bale is the new Superman or Goyer's crush on Nicky Coppola puts him in the tights.
