I am so so so happy about Aronofsky doing Wolverine, by far my favorite character, I also like the idea of keeping it with Jackman to preserve continuity but do a "one-off", like a graphic novel, so to speak. Love it. Cannot wait for this, and the title is fine with me.

Also (somewhat) excited about Green Lantern, but I hope it won't be too "funny"... The way it looks (humor vs. comic book action) kinda reminded me of Raimi's Spider-Man films, but I will have to wait and see. I guess that those who were expecting a "serious" film (like me), post-Chris Nolan DC, will probably be a little disappointed.

Right now all I care about is The Walking Dead

GL: You are right jedibanner. It's Hannibal King/Van Wilder as GL. Next summer will be an interesting battle between GL and Captain America. We will see if Chris Evans and Ryan Reynolds step out of their "cocky hunk" typical roles and take it to a different level. Unfortunately, after seeing this GL teaser, looks like it's same old Reynolds.

As for Youngblood. Man I can't wait for that one. A combination of Ratner's pure talent and Liefeld original creativity will make this movie a huge summer hit and many more sequels to come. My kids will go crazy over the Shaft and Bedrock...uh...I mean Badrock action figures. Day 1 must see for me. Screw the Avengers.

Footage from GL looks pretty good, but I'm still not impressed by Hal in costume. I'm sure I'll dig it all once I see the movie. It's really hard to judge with the rapid cuts shown.

I can't wait for a Thor trailer, and not a teaser either. It's time to start letting us get a look at the movie; Cap too.

Soctt Pilgrim...giant robot or not the movie sucked hard. It looked pretty cool but Michael Cera ruined it. The boy sucks ass with that emo pussy-boy schtick.

Glad The Wolverine will be stand alone. There's no need for in-continuity movies. The only problem will be when Jackman starts looking older. This will probably be the last Wolvie movie anyway. If the new XMen movie does well Logan will probably be recast for the sequel.

I've liked what's been going on between Lois and Clark on Smallville, but the adventure of the week have been throwaways and just a way to move their relationship forward.

Trying to stop laughing long enough to write this. My Lord, ElBaz13 I hope you were being sarcastic with your “pure talent” & “original creativity” comments. X3 was as devoid of character as the incredibly unoriginal/redundant Youngblood. This is a match made in derivative heaven and I hope both “artists” waste years on bringing it to the big screen so that aren’t screwing anything else up in the meantime.

Not a lot to go on with the GL footage but the little performance there is from Reynolds does seem a little too much like his patented silly man/boy performance. He’s capable of better so hopefully the rest of the film will be more Hal-like than Van Wilder-like. I like Reynolds and REALLY wanna like this movie. Effects look great at least.

Like what Aronofsky’s been saying about The Wolverine. I may actually end up spending money to see that. Haven’t had any interest in an X-Man oriented film since the X3 disaster.

I need to start watching Mad Men cuz I get a kick out of Jon Hamm in every interview I see of him and he’s pretty funny on SNL and Funny or Die.

Green Lantern: As far as this "teaser" goes, looks kinda lame to me. Not impressed with the CGI at all. I KNEW they shoulda saved Reynolds to play the FLASH.

I'm with Loco about the colour of the costume.  I've been watching this footage all weekend and for some reason there is something just not right about it.

I'm still pumped and I do like the effects of the construct fist used.  The change is pretty cool too. And they nailed Kilawog.

Reynolds would make a perfect Wally West

I don't know anything about Youngblood, but if the creator of the comic legitimately thinks X3 is the best X-film, I have no respect for him and no interest in any of his work.

Calling it The Wolverine seems odd to me (I'm not used to referring to the character that way).  HOWEVER, the idea of it being a one off entirely unrelated to the previous X-films is the best news I've heard about it.  Lose all of that baggage and just focus on making a good movie!  Maybe getting a director famous for fighting against studio interference really can save this movie.

I'm not sold on the Green Latern costume.  I feel like they could have easily achieved the same look with a practical suit, and then he wouldn't look so cartoony (Reynold's head looks very disconnected from the suit to me).  The comedic tone of the footage probably has as much to do with the way ET has edited it together as the actual film.  I'm not concerned about it yet, but I will be disappointed if Reynolds tries to play Hal the same way Downey Jr. plays Tony Stark.  We have the Iron Man movies, let's have Green Lantern blaze it's own path.

@ joeybaloney - You do need to start watching Mad Men because it's awesome, but if you're expecting it to be funny you will be sorely disappointed.

LMFAO at all the "X-Men 3 was SOOOO the worst!" comments.

Shuck the fuck up already. Seriously.
