GTA: SAN ANDREAS to arrive for Xbox

But it won't be here until next summer

After surging to the top of the sales charts when it was released in late October, only PlayStation 2 gamers have had the luxury of playing GRAND THEFT AUTO: SAN ANDREAS. That will change next summer as Rockstar Games announced today that it will release a Microsoft Xbox version of the game in North America on June 7, 2005. The European version of SAN ANDREAS will street three days later on June 10.

GTA: SA has been consistantly at the top of the sales charts since its release two months ago. During this week's Video Game Awards show broadcast on Spike TV, SAN ANDREAS won four awards including Best Action Game, Best Gaming Soundtrack, Best Male Performer (Samuel L. Jackson) and the big daddy of the night, Game of the Year.
