What They Say
Sayaka is trying to be a prim and proper teacher, but every time she steps in front of a classroom she gets hot... And turning up the air conditioner isn't going bring her temperature down one bit.

Misuzu may be a world-class swimmer, but the cold water in the practice pool only heats things up. She's one bathing beauty who doesn't need a sauna to make things steamy. The heat index will soar as these two lovely ladies do their best to set the screen on fire.

The Review!
If the three adventures in the first volume werent enough for you, the creators have kindly made a few more episodes to attempt to titillate you with.

Audio:
For our primary viewing session, we listened to this show in its original language of Japanese. Japanese is also the only language available here as this show was never dubbed. The dialogue track is nice and clean and we noted no dropouts or distortion during playback.

Video:
Released in 1999, these two OVAs come across very well with an excellent transfer. Things here simply look very sharp, nicely detailed and filled with good colors. Some of the colors are a bit soft in places, but it again appears to be intentional, especially as there are many areas of very vibrant colors. Cross coloration is pretty much non-existent, but theres a fair amount of aliasing during the camera panning motions.

Packaging:
A very delightful cover, we get the two characters very close together in swimsuits and with just the right hint of blushing to make it all work, especially against the soft pink backgrounds. The back cover provides a few screenshots from the two episodes and a brief summary of what their, er, plot is about. The discs features and technical information is all nice and clearly listed.

Menu:
The menu layout is nice with an image similar to the front cover but more explicit, where we get some of the music playing along. Each episode is easily started from here, and with no language selections, the only other places to go are extras and scene selections, so the layout is minimal but effective. Access times are nice and fast and everything loaded as it should.

Extras:
Much like the first volume, theres a surprising amount of extras here. The first two are promotional pieces for each character that talks about their story and the second season of episodes for the series. Theres an original trailer for the series itself, and theres also a really nice original artwork section. That one contains static images of things like full size character standees, postcard artwork and the pocket calendar. The character sketches should be pretty obvious, but whats nicely added is a 5 minute alternate angle section to the second episode.

Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers)
After finally experiencing some G-Taste, and the strangeness of the series itself as its definitely more of an almost softcore show than anything else, I was a bit leery of the second volume as I figured theyd keep up with the same bag of tricks.

Well, they do to some extent, but it felt less overwhelming since there were only two episodes to go through. If there had been a third, Im not sure I could have made it through there. When it comes to minimal to no plot, this is the kind of show that needs to be referenced.

The first episode takes us onto campus where we follow twenty four year old Sayaka Mizukoshi, a professor teaching at this particular school. For the students, shes a shining light of purity and the kind of woman you just dont see anymore. Shes gorgeous, but she has the pure and near-saint like quality about her that keeps men from being a bother. But she has a bad side that nobody sees, as when her students are studying hard, her body gets very hot and she has to find ways to deal with it. She manages fairly well until the school doctor catches on and then starts using some unusual treatments to try and cure her, as well as exploring the depths of the problem.

The second episode deals with Misuzu Kawamura, a young woman on the school swim team who thought nothing strange of showing her brother how she looked in her swimsuit. Well, not just the swimsuit, but the swimsuit in various ways not normally worn. In doing so, she really starts to get into it and eventually her body takes over for her, and next thing she knows shes bringing herself off with the small strip of bathing suit that slides between her legs. While this is going on, we also get back to Sayaka from the first episode, and shes now placing three cellphones on vibrate in appropriate places around her body. This eventually ties in with Misuzu as she ends up with one of the phone numbers

Ok, so, this is all just strange softcore like hentai. Plot is definitely minimal, dialogue is nonsensical and some of the character designs are so top heavy that you think theyd need a crane to help them walk around at times. Yet, well, it seems to work in some respects. For better or for worse, Ill admit that. Its not a show that Id recommend much unless youre already a fan of the series and the particular style that they use, but there is just something about it all. Keep the expectations low is the best way to look at it.
