Synopsis: From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team—the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel's “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits—Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand—with the galaxy's fate in the balance.
Guardians of the Galaxy features Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Nova Prime Rael and Benicio Del Toro as The Collector.
Guardians of the Galaxy arrives August 1st, 2014.

I really want to watch this. At the same time, I'd rather not see any more of the movie than I already have. So I guess I'll skip it. I do prefer to be surprised as much as possible.

I know its cool to have well known Actors using their Voices to the characters , but by doing so puts a Actor who does Voice overs as a living out of a job

The same can be said when a well know actor is brought on to play a role in a film there are numerous other actor who could have played the role but won’t cause that’s the director producer or, the studios choice. Cooper and Diesel were chosen cause of their distinctive voices. When I hear the little sampling of Groot that has been released Vin Diesel is a perfect choice and the same goes for Rocket. . People have more of an incentive to see the movie just cause they want to hear what the known actors will sound like as that character. If hear John so and so is voicing Rocket I react with meh! but Cooper as Rocket makes me wonder where will he go with the character.

Just saw this over at another site, talking about the new Fantastic Four:

When asked if Josh Trank's re-imagining of Marvel's First Family would contain the found-footage feel of Chronicle, Watts replied:

It's Josh, so it can't not have that feel.

And that, everyone, is one more reason this movie should never happen!!  Found Footage movies are awful!!

I tried to watch Frankenstiens Army last night, didn't last 1 minute.  These are gimmics from directors who have no talent.

The whole found footage thing is played out. Now it's just for no talent, lazy film makers.
