This is right up Carrey's alley, but I'm not sold on Sandler...I think just his name as one of the characters on this kind of movie is a fail...he's not over the top enough, Carrey I think would rock as Rocket Raccon...he would be funny just because we know it's him....but because of his involvment with Kick Ass 2 he may not be around or contractually available?

But I mean as much as I dont care about sandler, it's only voicing a character so I dont really care who voices it. I know it will be epic.
Speaking of epic, Adam Warlock on screen would be just that... Epic.
Hey @Whiskeymovie, While I'm sure the view is really great from up there above the rest of us, I'm actually a nerd that's read GotG, I know I'll hate it.
glad i never did read GOTG, this way i can go watch it and not compare notes. i don't get why most comic book reading people can't ever get past the fact that hardly any comic to film movie is not going to be what the comic was, but they can get as close as they can. and as for A.S just stay away the very thought of his voice in this film will ruin it for me. i would go with J.C..i thknk it has a good shot at being a good movie, fun time with the "Snot Monsters" at the very least..
I love this stuff. Grown men (and ladies) discussing who should be the voice of Groot the talking Tree and Rocket Racoon. It's priceless. I come to mania to escape the real world for a few minutes and I thank all the Nerds out there (and I say that affectionately) for helping me do that.

I'm completely down for this flick and I can't wait to see which Avenger will join the Guardians in their fight. Feige has said that due to the lack of brand recognition for the Guardians, they want to put one of the other Avengers in to draw the general public. I believe that Feige has stated that they would like to fit Iron Man in so they have a big draw to get the unknowing public to watch the film. Knowing Downey's commitment to these films, he would be down for this. Including Iron Man in the film would be smart financially, but I hope they take the opportunity to introduce Adam Warlock since he will be needed in the Thanos storyline.
