Synopsis: From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team—the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel's “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits—Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand—with the galaxy's fate in the balance.
Guardians of the Galaxy features Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Nova Prime Rael and Benicio Del Toro as The Collector
Guardians of the Galaxy arrives August 1st, 2014.

I didnt see anything different.

Some minor differences. But nothing that really jumps out at me.

If there was a like button here, Wiseguy would like again. :)

ddiaz28 5/30/2014 7:20:01 AM

Only difference I saw was the shot of Rocket pulling on his little racoon parts was replaced.

Wiseguy 5/30/2014 7:32:49 AM

This makes me happy

Wiseguy is hooked on that feeling...

On an unrelated note, I was really impressed with Dave Bautista at the SDCC Marvel panel last year.  He talked about how emotional he got when he was officially offered the part and seemed really genuine.  I'll admit it, he was totally opposite of the meathead stereotype I had pegged him as.  Hope he knocks this out of the park.

ElBaz13 5/30/2014 8:24:40 AM

I hope so too Millean. Jason Momoa turned the part down as he's played this type of role before (also apparently wanted more cash)

I sure hope the Drax character part is better played out than the DC character Momoa will play.

I saw nothing different, but had no problem watching it again. And I'll probably watch it again. And again.

Has anyone stated that the poster has a Star Wars-Esque feel to it?  I may be late on addressing this.

BTW, quote marks are the death knell on posts!!!!

I dont think its a comedy , more like the Fifth Element , even though the trailer seems to play it one way , The movie could be action filled with light humor.
