I think this sounds so out of the box, that it could be awesome, if done well. I know nothing about  this comic, but the images that I've seen are pretty cool.

Slow news day

Normally I'm in agreement with Wiseguy but gotta disagree on the Rocket Raccoon idea.  Guardians of the Galaxy already suffers from Marvel's crappy cosmic pantheon (not that DC is any better), adding an anthropomorphic "furry" will not go over well with non-fans and even some fanboys (like me).  Shades of Jar-Jar if you ask me.  I still can't believe Marvel is going ahead with this instead of Black Panther.  Save the cosmic crap until the finish they negotiations to regain the rights to the Silver Surfer.
