Variety reports that Guy Ritchie is set to direct a new 'Sherlock Holmes' movie that is said to be based on an upcoming comic book by producer Lionel Wigram.
Previous reports indicated that the film would be a 'Batman Begins' style reimagining of the iconic detective, skewed towards action. Holmes' deductive skills will be augmented by his skills as a boxer and swordsman.
Film is now targeted for a 2010 release.
