Pixar and Walt Disney Studios have released the official teaser for the Cars spin off titled: Planes. Check out the teaser trailer below.
The Plot: Dusty is a crop dusting plane who dreams of competing in a famous aerial race. The problem? He is hopelessly afraid of heights. With the support of his mentor Skipper and a host of new friends, Dusty sets off to make his dreams come true.
Planes is set to take off August 9th, 2013.

Pixar, outside of Monsters U is actually working on three completely new original movies. Plus this was suppose to be a direct to video cars cash in and the finished product impressed the brass enough to go ahead and give it a theatrical release. I didn't know this but cars has made billions, billions with a B in merchandise so of course disney is going to keep milking it. With that type of merchandise money that's practically an entire economy by itself in hollywood. I think it actually says a lot that Pixar oversaw this and the end result was better than the studio heads thought it would be.
As much as the concept is a little silly... is using a song known for it's moaning orgasmic female track, even edited out really the go to music for a kids movie trailer?
Um, if a tree falls in the woods that you never existed does it make a sound?
Wow I thought the whole premise of CARS was stupid, let alone this...
And now it seems White Zombie is a Disney thing now, too?
