Haim Hates LOST BOYS 2 and Updates on LB 3

A month after insiders announced that Warner Bros. executives were developing a third installment in their Lost Boys franchise, Corey Haim has publicly lashed out against Lost Boys: The Tribe and updated the fans on what we can expect in Lost Boys 3, which is rumored to be starring the Frog Brothers (Jamison Newlander, Corey Feldman) against Sam (Corey Haim).

While attending the
6th Annual Eyegore Awards at Universal Studios, Bloody-Disgusting's Spooky Dan caught up with the actor on the red carpet to pick his thoughts on the recently-released DVD and plans for a sequel.

I've seen the whole movie LOST BOYS: THE TRIBE], I don’t like it, to be honest with you," Haim tells SpookyDan on the red carpet of the 6th annual Eyegore Awards. "I don’t like it, I'm not gonna lie to you. I don’t like it as much as the first one," he continues, "There's HALLOWEEN 1 and 2 and then there’s 3 that has nothing to do with Michael Myers…. We went from LOST BOYS 1 to, let's say just like a neutralized, keep it hot and fresh LOST BOYS 2, and [now we'll] hopefully go for the LOST BOYS 3 thing, which is gonna happen.

"I've heard good things, very good things," he explains. "If it happens I should be starring in it because of the end of 2 [where he cameos]. Hopefully well have everyone back.

To read which direction they could be going for the third installment, click here. As Brad says, Haim offers no explanation as to how that prequel direction will be possible given Haim's age.

For Pete's sake don't do Lost Boys 3! I beg of ya, don't!!! Lost Boys 2 sucked balls!! That shit was terrible. No one on Earth can like that movie so I'm not surprised he doesn't like it. I think he doesn't like it cause he's not in it, that's why he's "hearing good things on part 3".

Lost Boys 3 is gonna be terrible, Highlander:The Source terrible.

Yeah, I agree Lost Boys Two was for Lost Boys what the Dark Knight was for Batman Begins. Take my eyes out, please.

Oh Corey Haim....maybe if you blink your eyes really fast when speaking, Lost Boys 3 will happen. It is actually a shame, because back in the day everyone I know wanted to be either Feldman or Haim. And Haim has made some decent movies (Prayer of the Roller Boys, Fast Getaway).....not good, but fun direct to video movies. It would be funny if they did a Keifer Sutherland or Charlie Sheen and brought his/their careers back via TV shows. Ya never know.

It's a vampire movie. Leave it at that. The more of them the better. They should have always been making one every few years. 2nd movie was nowhere near the level of the first one, but nothing really is.
