I agree with Wiseguy on the whole Sinestro thing. I like Haley but not for Sinestro. My prediction is that Green Lantern is not going to be good. WB has shown that Batman is the only franchise they care to do with any real respect.

Thor I think will be great. I'm not even a very big fan of Thor in the comics, but it seems like the movie is on the right track. Marvel knows what their doing.

Spiderman twilight style would be a disaster. Not even sony is that foolish. Even though I do think they will fukk this reboot up.

For Spider-Man I say Nimród Antal would be a pretty damn poor choice.  There are much better directos with mych better public images and histories of making movies than him.  Sony would be stupid to choose a director just off of some buzz over one movie.

As for the Pattinson rumor this sounds like some stuff spread around by Pattinson's agent to try and get him the job.  I am calling BS on this on for now too.  But I am afraid I would not be too surprised should Sony choose him just for the sheer fact of his populatrity.

Whoc could make for a better choice for Peter Parker now that they are going back to high school?  Who is about 5'10"/180 pounds with brown hair and kind of nerdy but still good looking?

As for Jackie Earle acting as Sinestro I say it is ok with me.  He has the chops to play a ruthless bad ass on screen and that is what really counts.  The height thing is not a problem.  Hell, they make Tom Cruise look taller in ever movie he has ever been in.  That guy is short as hell.

I think Haley would be a huge misstep if cast. Sinestro is supposed to be imposing, cold, and almost regal. Haley is none of these things. I honestly thought he chewed the scenery in Watchmen a bit.

Haley just comes across as someone that Ryan Reynolds could toss around like a doll, I feel no threat there. However, somebody like Jason Isaacs, Mark Strong, or even the afor mentioned Jude Law I feel could do the character far more justice.

Give the spidey gig to Cameron, sony. Now is your chance. He can make spidey great again!

fft5305, I don't know what comics you saw that made Sinestro short, but short he is not. He is very thin and lanky but he is supposed to be 6'7" while Jordan is 6'

axia, Haley MAY be ok to play the character but Sinestro isn't a ruthless villain at the beginning and aside from Haley playing a rabid dog in Watchmen I can't say that I know he's that good an actor.
 

You should check out Little Children then.  I also think he'll do a terrific job in Shutter Island.

While it probably is just a rumor, keep that foot-faced sparkly hobo vampire OUT of my fcuking Spider-Man movie!  Who should play Spidey?  When I first saw American Beauty, I thought Wes Bentley would have been the perfect Peter Parker.  He might be a little old for the part now, though...I don't know.

This whole reboot thing just pisses me off because dammit, Sam was doing a great job, SM3 aside.  And his continued use of Dylan Baker as Curt Conners made me all excited to see the Lizard eventually...and now...who knows???  Gah!  Fcuk Sony!
