Here's an interesting note for our British Mania readers in terms of future HARRY POTTER & THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE filming. The Wiltshire Times is reporting an upcoming shoot in the village around Wiltshire, England in October. The shoot is planned for the evenings by director David Yates who is returning from his recent work on the OotP adaptation. Screenwriter Steven Kloves who skipped out on OotP is also returning to pen the adaptation of HBP from novel version to the big screen.
Filming for Half-Blood Prince will take place in the village and in the cloisters at Lacock Abbey in Wiltshire, England. This location will be used for multiple night scenes from the sixth Potter book. Shooting will last four days in October between 5 PM and 5 AM. A sum of £30,000 will be given to the village in exchange and in addition, each resident will receive a sum of £200 and a secure parking service.
HARRY POTTER & THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE hits theaters everywhere on November 21, 2008.
