HALF LIFE 2 Rules Game Charts

The latest game chart numbers (most requested games list) has hit the web courtesy of Gamefly and it looks like HALF LIFE 2:THE ORANGE BOX Edition has continued ruling after dethroning HALO 3 last week. Newcomers CLIVE BARKER'S JERICHO, ACES COMBAT & CALL OF DUTY 4 continued right behind in the top 5 requested games during the past week.

Here's the top spots for each console.

Xbox 360

1. Half-Life 2: The Orange Box (EA)
2. Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation
3. Clive Barker's Jericho (Codemasters)
4. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Activision)
5. Conan (THQ)

Nintendo Wii

In other news, Michael Pachter from the consultation firm Wedbush Morgan is predicting that the XBox360 will outsell the Wii in September due to its lower price and the release of HALO 3. In fact, video game sales as a whole has reached 655 million (last year: 445 mil) with 200 million of it coming from the third Halo installment.

It's easy to see why HL2 has topped the charts, it's the best first-person shooter in existence. Can't wait to give the expansion a go.

I bought The Orange Box just recently. And it is as cool as everyone is making it out to be. I also agree that HL is the best first person shooter there is. I mean, Halo is cool and all, but it seems more of a kiddy kind of game compared to the HL series.

regarding the system sales...i wonder if Wii would be outselling the others if the actual systems were available. demand doesn't seem to have lessened at all.
