"Half Life" Takes Full Honors

Valve Software/Vivendi Universal Games' "Half-Life 2" took top honors at the 5th annual Game Developers Choice Awards when it was named game of the year. It also won for writing, character design and technology.
Other winners included "Katamari Damacy" for game design. The game also shared the innovation categories award with "Donkey Konga" and "I Love Bees."
