Rob Zombie has revealed the official soundtrack to his upcoming HALLOWEEN movie on his myspace page. Some songs are new while some songs reappear from the classic Halloween and it's sequel. Case in point, "Mr. Sandman" is indeed in the movie yet there will also be a Kiss song because there is a photo revealing the young Michael Myers (before going nutty) wearing a Kiss t-shirt. You can get a general idea on the time frame of the movie by the songs appearing.

Here's the official soundtrack list:

1. BOC - Don't Fear The Reaper
2. Nazareth - Love Hurts
3. Peter Frampton - Baby, I Love Your Way
4. Rush - Tom Sawyer
5. BTO - Let It Ride
6. Kiss - God Of Thunder
7. Love is like Oxygen - The Sweet
8. Alice Cooper - Only Women Bleed
9. Misfits - Halloween 2
10. Halloween theme - Tyler Bates
11. Michael stalks Laurie - Tyler Bates
12. Mr. Sandman - Nan Vernon

The soundtrack goes on sale on August 21. The movie hits theaters on August 31.

Wow no songs by Zombie himself. Very Impressive. Im surpried he didnt try to at least do his own mix of Carpenters theme. But at least we now know hes not an arrogant prick. Kal would be proud.

pttttttttbbbbb! I remember the good old days when this guy was making great music... Y'know before he dropped his bandmates and wen't solo, and had the ill concieved notion that there should be a sequel to the Crow... Thanks for starting the avalanche of crap that buried that franchise. A few popmetal crap records and two or three derrivative horror flicks later... I just miss White Zombie.

Other than a song on a soundtrack, what does Zombie have to do with the Crow? Anyway, I'm psyched about this film, and the soundtrack just adds that much more. I'm actually surprised there's not Black Sabbath. It's the right time-frame, and Zombie is good pals with the Oz-man.

Zombie wrote a Crow script a number of years ago I believe. Whatever happened to The Crow: Lazarus w/ DMX as the Crow?
