"Hallows" Cover Released

Scholastic, Inc. has released the image of the  the cover of the seventh and final Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

The wraparound cover was designed by illustrator Mary GrandPre.  Harry is featured on the front and on the back are the outstretched  spidery hands of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.

The book comes out on July 21st.

Canada gets the UK editions of Harry Potter, so I wonder what our cover's going to look like this time around. Sometimes it's far better than America's (Goblet of Fire) and sometimes it's far worse (Half-Blood Prince). I rather like this one. I'm glad Scholastic didn't try and overload it with big shiny things, being the last HP book and all.

I buy them in Canada too but I actually like the US cover this time. It's got Voldemort and Harry battling. The other has them riding a big pile of gold with stupid looks on their faces. It's just too shiny. This is going to be a dark book, it should be a dark cover. Both covers pose more questions like who is the little elf holding the sword on Harry's back? And what are Harry and Voldemort trying to control that is off the page? Can't wait to find out the answers

I think only in the US they get a diffrerent cover, everywhere else is the same.
