Tom Hanks has signed on board Steven Spielberg's fasr developing next helming gig, DreamWorks' CATCH ME IF YOU CAN. Hanks will be taking on the role of a FBI agent Joe Shaye who was on the job seeking the youngest man to ever be in the agency's top tne most wanted list. Leonardo DiCaprio will play Frank Abagnale Jr. in a story based on the real-life Abagnale's book CATCH ME IF YOU CAN.
As it turned out, the cat-and-mouse hunt between the two men resulted in Shaye having a grudging respect for Abagnale. Years later, after Abagnale's imprisonment, the two became good friends.
