Blu-ray Shopping Bag: THE VINCENT PRICE COLLECTION Volume II (Article) - 10/21/2014 2:00:43 PM

I picked up Snowpiercer, See No Evil 2, Life After Beth, Sex Tape, Mad Men Final Season Part 1, and Purge Anarchy.

Snowpiercer was really good, I recommend people get it for their collection.  It's currently $15 at Target, and if you use their Target Cartwheel app this week there is a 15% coupon on all movies/cds so it birngs it down to around $13.

The Walking Dead: Strangers Review (Article) - 10/20/2014 4:29:10 PM

Bob was bit which is why he left.

I hope its true the show will stick closer to the comics now cause its been an average show at best imo and the comics are great.

Mania Review: Birdman (Article) - 10/17/2014 4:09:20 PM

 You rang?

I want to check this out just cause I read somewhere they tried doing the movie in few long shots.  Always dig those in movies.

The Walking Dead: No Sanctuary Review (Article) - 10/17/2014 4:07:32 PM

If we're reminiscing about the old days, you guys remember Sonymanswallows?  I miss that dude, his hate against Spidey was entertaining.  Also, who was the guy that always mentioning Tom Arnold?  He use to say something along the lines "This movie would've been better if it was called Carpool starring Tom Arnold", i think that's what it was.

Finally for anyone that cares, I officially passed on writing TWD reviews.  While I would've liked to do it I just don't have the time anymore.  I can barely watch the show, let alone write about it.  Trate gonna keep fighting the good fight tho.  You guys be nice to him now, at least we got a place to talk about the show thanks to him.

Blu-ray Shopping Bag: Edge of Tomorrow (Article) - 10/14/2014 5:30:04 PM

You're a week late with EoT, this week should've been X-Men or Sherman & Mr. Peabody!

What's weird about EoT is how WB changed the name of the movie to Live Die Repeat, it even shows like that in some store systems.

Gotham: Arkham Review (Article) - 10/14/2014 5:27:20 PM

I enjoy watching the show, but all I can think is the show should've been The Wire but with Gotham characters, that would've been so awesome.

The Walking Dead: No Sanctuary Review (Article) - 10/14/2014 2:16:34 PM

Thanks for the kind words Samson, I have to say tho most of the time I have no clue what Im doing so Im always amazed when I manage to type semi coherent sentences.

its true Trate asked me if I wanted to review the series again, what he didnt mention was that he did it Saturday, the day before the premiere and I didnt check my FB account until now.  Trate did a good job tho, certainly better than I.

I have a 15 month old so my free time is less and less but I'll see if I can do the reviews again, gotta talk to Trate first.

finally those that spoil Just come off as dbags, and Trate you shouodnt side with them man u better than that.

 You guys rang?

Gotham: Selina Kyle Review (Article) - 10/1/2014 3:06:40 PM

So far so good.

lusiphur, do you mean the reference to The Dollmaker?  He's the one the two baddies mentioned.

Also, Jim Gordon did not clean up Gotham, the story is the descent of Gotham into a place that would need a guy dressed up as a bat.  Corruption has to eat the place up, and the crazies come out in full force, Gordon won't be able to stop that.

I don't know if you guys saw the trailer showing stuff for the upcoming season with Victor Zsasz, but that trailer looked good and I can't wait to see what they do with Arkham City.

Gotham: Pilot Review (Article) - 9/23/2014 2:16:04 PM

The comedian was there as a nod to The Joker.  The creators will do this from time, the will show different guys that could potentially be The Joker based on the what's known about him in the comics, movies etc. Until they decide to officially bring him into the show.

I haven't seen the pilot ep yet, but I did read that each season will show the rise of one of the Bat villains, so I'm assuming it will be The Penguin this year.
