Actually it's not that the collection sold out but was recalled by Rhino. Apparently Rhino lost the rights to one of the movies in the set. They can no longer sell it and asked stores to return copies.

Actually some stores, like Borders, may still have copies. Most of them apparently didn't bother with the recall. That's where I found my copy. I've heard the big box retailers (Best Buy, Circuit City) sent their copies back.
