The NEW YORK TIMES is set to depress HARRY POTTER news: The fifth book in the series, HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX won't be coming out even late this year. In fact, the United States publisher Scholastic is telling its shareholders not to expect it before June of next year.
"Clearly we understand that her readers are eagerly waiting for it but you can't hurry the creative juices and we understand that," said a spokeswoman for Scholastic. "She is writing. She is working hard on the book. We will be happy when we get it."
The spokeswoman also said that even when the book is finished, it will take four or five months to get it into stores.
