Not sure this one's going ot beat the 20-pound monster they released in 2011....

Fukin WB with their UV only, I want them on iTunes!  At least do both you bastards!

Hanso - Agreed.  If I am in the middle of the F'ing woods with no wifi (not that I am going to use it to stream 7 movies off the cloud anyway)....I won't be able to connect to that shit.  It's ludicrous.

If I get a digital copy, I want it on my HD backed up and ready for my use.

I hate Ultraviolet with a passion, and probably would feel the same about iTunes if I hadn't been suckered into using it as long as I have. There should be a standard digital copy format that could play on any device you have, and have your entire library in one location instead of strewn across numerous applications. That would make too much sense, though.

Fortunately, I just got a new computer with a Blu-Ray drive. Actually in the middle of converting all of my Blu-Rays into a digital copy I can have as a backup, and import into iTunes. Still somewhat crude, but at least my library will be in one centralized location. Now if I didn't have so many freakin' discs to back up...

And back to the topic at hand, I still can't believe how much this HP collection is (both in discs & dollars). $250 is a step in the right direction, but still about $150 too much. Also, this almost sounds like part of one of the improv bits they do on Whose Line Is It, Anyway?, when they are doing the music collection routines:

"This collection includes 8 moives on only 31 discs!!! It can be yours for the low, low price of $249.99 plus tax!" (queue a Wayne Brady parody of the HP theme)...

I thought you could download UV copies to your device and not have to stream them?  Am I wrong on that?  I've cashed in a couple UV digital copies and clicked the download, but haven't watched them away from a wi-fi or 4g connection.
