Hartnett picks his LUCKY NUMBER SLEVEN

Josh Hartnett will reunite with his WICKER PARK director pal Paul McGuigan on LUCKY NUMBER SLEVEN, a crime noir gangster flick. Set in the criminal underworld and focusing on the rivalry between Jewish and African-American mobsters, Hartnett will play a gang member that's selected to assassinate the son of a rival gang's boss.

The script for the film was written by Jason Smilovic. Hartnett recently completed working for Robert Rodriguez in the director's adaptation of Frank Miller's SIN CITY. Hartnett's next film, the romantic thriller WICKER PARK, opens September 3.
