Okay. Action figures based on deleted scenes? I simply can't afford enough scotch for this news. Love the Cobra Commander in a tie figure though.

I didn't see Cobra Commander down there. That figure is pretty dope! Figures from "deleted scenes" proves once again what a greedy shill Lucas is. In the 25 yrs. since ROTJ came out I've never heard of or seen a "deleted sandstorm scene". Ridiculous. I've said it before and I'll say it again; Fuck George Lucas in the mouth.

"Blue suit" Cobra Commander may have sold out immediately but the "black suit" version was there all weekend. I picked up one of the "black suit" versions. Not as limited in quantity to be certain but if you don't want to pay a premium for the figure then definitely the way to go. Still an SDCC exclusive just not as limited. Great figure at any rate. Oh and if crazy ol' George wants to make up some new characters or use old deleted scenes and give me new figures, I'll take that over the 500 millionth edition of the same Luke I have 6 of already any day. Looking forward to the TOD figures. Mola Ram looks great.

The sandstorm scene is real; I've seen the old ROTJ teaser and that's where the scene is best known from. It was nothing more than a transition scene of the heroes leaving Tatooine after saving Han. No need to get butt-hurt over it either way. It's not as if Lucas makes the figures personally.

Oh no doubt that the scene is real TheLastCleric (i've seen photage and pictures in the Star Wars Insider). As I said this is nothing more than seeding for another re-release. Lucas said that there will be a 3D release one day what could be better than a sandstorm!~Robert (thanks for reading by the way, all of you Maniacs)

<INPUT id=old_body_115317 type=hidden value="That's where you are wrong Cleric. I know for a fact that Lucas himself casts and hand-paints every single Star Wars action figure. Star Wars was the clearly the main attraction at the Lucasfilm booth at the San Diego Comic Con. Not to be grammar Nazi, but c'mon.
