As said in our Mania box office report, we're approaching the end of the build up to Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight. But before the clock strikes midnight on Thursday, we have three more video clips to pass along in relation to the highly anticipated sequel. MTV has got their hands on a car chase clip from the film while clips from HBO's "First Look" of the film has appeared online. You can watch all three below. The sequel stars Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman. Director Christopher Nolan led production, based on a screenplay that he co-wrote with brother Jonathan Nolan.
Plot Summary: "The Dark Knight" reunites director Christopher Nolan with star Christian Bale, who returns to continue Batman's war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), Batman sets out to destroy organized crime in Gotham for good. The triumvirate proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a rising criminal mastermind known as the Joker (Heath Ledger), who thrusts Gotham into anarchy and forces the Dark Knight ever closer to crossing the fine line between hero and vigilante.
Nice try....not watching those. Too close, and come too far. I've been looking away from the TV now, as to not see too much before Thursday. Soon. Soon.
I almost missed Hellboy because I was watching this before I left. I should have just hit DVR record, but I couldn't stop myself. This movie looks so damn good!
I pressed play for a second then stopped it. I can`t watch little tastes anymore. I need the whole baddabing! I`m not looking at spots or trailers or exclusives. I already have to wait an extra week, so watching this stuff is just going to piss me off. And as soon as Thursday hits I`m taking a Mania Hiatus until I see it. I don`t want anyone of you guys spoiling it for me.
You have to wait an extra week, Pony? Damn, that sucks! I've got my ticket, so as long as I get out of class at a good hour I should be able to make the first showing. I'm amped!
Tickets are purchased...
What time will the Thurs night line start at your cinemas?
I read, online, that Nolan and Goyer are looking to bring new villains to the 3rd flick. They seem to be pushing out the Penguin/cat idea. The Clayface rumor is staring to grow.
If you had to make the call on two "new to the movies" characters from the rogues gallery, who would be your two (assuming Dent is in already)?
Man-bat/ clayface

LOL goatartist!
genretime - Man-bat has been on my shortlist for a movie translation for a long time! I would love to see both him and Killer Croc in the same flick playing off who's the monster and who's the tragic character.
Mr. Zsasz is also someone that could work really, really well. He's not all that fleshed out in the comics so there's a lot of freedom there. Kind of a Hannibal Lector Vs Batman vibe. Maybe him & Dr. Hugo Strange. Strange could be the shrink that pushes him to kill and dresses like Batman to stop him.
I'm with all of you. So close I can taste it so I am on media blackout until midnight Thursday!!!!
Godspeed on your flight home hanso!
