The viral for the upcoming reboot of Total Recall is in full swing with the release of websites and a series of viral posters. While most of the posters paint pictures of all the fantasies you can live out in the Rekall system, one post is a warning about its dangers. They also point you at a couple of links. If you go to Welcometorekall.com, you are treated to a spa style experience that lays out all the wonders of the Rekall technology. However, if you go over to NoRekall.org you are treated to the horror stories that have fallen upon Rekall’s victims.
There are numerous posters for Rekall but you get the idea.
Total Recall is based on the short story "We Can Remember It For You Wholesale" by Phillip K. Dick. This new film features Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Bill Nighy, Ethan Hawke, and Colin Farrell as Quaid/ Hauser.
The film is directed by Len Wiseman (Live Free or Die Hard).
Total Recall (2012) arrives in theaters August 3rd.
