Heading for the HILLS again
Remake of 1977 Wes Craven shocker in development By Patrick Sauriol
February 06, 2004
Source: Variety
A remake of the classic Wes Craven horror film
THE HILLS HAVE EYES has just been officially announced by Dimension Films. In a move showing the studio's commitment to staying true to the horrific nature of the material, Dimension has hired the writer and director of the 2003 French horror film
HAUTE TENSION (those individuals being Gregory Levasseur and Alexandre Aja, respectively) to work on the new
HILLS.
The first movie followed the trek of a family driving to California. Along the way their car is wrecked and in the middle of nowhere, a sinister pack of inbred, deranged lunatics begins to hunt them down. Fun for the whole family!
