VARIETY reports that Selma Blair has been cast as the love interest in Guillermo del Toro's adaptation of
HELLBOY. Ron Perlman has the title role in the film, slated for release in 2004.
Blair's character has the ability to physically control fire, and develops a relationship with the eponymous crime fighter.
