As long as those "older" computers have 1gb of memory and a NVIDIA or ATI video card. You know I have a brand new laptop and cannot play this game?

    No luck yet, Pat?

What's the error message say? Perhaps, it should be sent into Flagship.

Hey, I'm actually playing in the beta & there were problems downloading that client and getting it to work. I had to cancel the first download, delete what was downloaded and re-download the program to get it downloaded completely.

After that, it wouldn't install correctly. To fix that problem instead of just running the program I used WinRaR to explore the setup download and run the installer that was actually inside the compressed package.

That said, I'm not sure if the new single player downloader will have the same issues.

As far as the game, it's pretty fun. The beta is online so it's a mix between Diablo, WoW from the MMO aspect, and a FPS depending on what class you play.

    Did anyone read the EULA:

Does that make you all warm and fuzzy inside?
If you couple this with online activations like you have with Bioshock, they can look at your installed software and see if you're licensed to play the OTHER games on your machine.

Do you really want to give a GAME COMPANY that much power over your PC and personal information? Is your privacy worth not only playing a game, but you are PAYING them to take your personal information.

    Don't be a sheep.

thx goldeneyez for the info, and that is pretty f'ed up shit jakester... but it won't prevent me from playing this game.

I'm more interested to see what Flagship's stance on selling in-game property is, that's what REALLY made Diablo 2 fun, having the ability to trade your top-level items for cold hard cash.

i got it yesterday, I had now problem loading it, but I used the DVD not down loading it. The game is diffently intense, the graphics are killer. Friend said he had to drop down to DX9 instead of DX10, it kept crashing on him. I run DX9 with np so far. I have done about 10 quest and opened up like 3 areas in the single player mode. Will jump on multiplayer this weekend probably and go from there. This is not a click and kill game u have to aim all your shots and swings and such. Looking forward to getting further into this game.
