HELLRAISER opening for TV?

Variety is reporting that a weekly television series based on Clive Barker's HELLRAISER property is in development. According to the trade, Panacea Entertainment, Park Avenue Entertainment and Blueprint Entertainment are working on the hour-long show, with Larry Kuppin and Eric Gardner serving as executive producers.

The show's premise would see the chief Cenobite, Pinhead, in cahoots with a rich software businessman to entrap the world in their evil. Nothing was mentioned whether the TV show would attempt to bring back Doug Bradley, the actor that played Pinhead in the franchise's eight movies and direct-to-video films.
